We stayed in the one bedroom ocean front apartment. It was very nice. We spent most of our time on the balcony. The view was amazing. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not comfortable. There is a Publix grocery store two blocks away. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was clean. We wished the pool area stayed open later because we are late risers. Two chairs were provided for us on the beach until 5pm. It was a very nice stay. Apartment needed a little updating and some things in it were broken but we would go back.
My adult daughter and I stayed 7 nights in an ocean front one bedroom one bath apartment at the Monte Carlo. This apartment is nicely furnished and quite spacious. The king sized bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. I had 4 fluffy pillows to myself. My daughter slept on a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room. There was an extra room with a full sized sofa sleeper that could have been used as a 2nd bedroom but had no door. The views from the large patio doors in this 18th floor unit are awesome (ocean, pool/hot tub deck and city). The walls could use some fresh paint in this unit and more clothes hangers and kitchen essentials would help. The clothes dryer stopped working on 2 separate occasions and we had to call for maintenance. Overall, however, we had a wonderful stay. This is a very nice resort and whatever they lack in some areas, they more than make up for in customer service and amenities. Beach service was included with our stay which was a huge selling point for me. Masks and social distancing were required and the resort always looked and smelled clean. You don't need a car. There's plenty of shops, groceries, and restaurants within walking distance and public transportation is plentiful (and free during our stay). I look forward to returning to Miami Beach and the Monte Carlo.
The view was absolutely fantastic and the service was awesome. We had to go to another Airbnb because we extended our stay and domio was WAY better. We will be back for sure. Thanks for letting us stay at your awesome condo.
We reserved corner room with ocean front and they gave us a different one, middle room with ocean front, I wasn't so happy about that!. The view was fantastic, our room was on 15th floor, the location is exellent, the beach is very clean and the hotel provides beach chairs and umbrella.
The room wasn't clean, the oven, fridge, stove, coffee table and microwave had food stains, furniture had some wear and only 2 small chairs on the balcony, need some updates.
Overall, is a great place to stay with the family and friends, kid friendly pool.
I will be back.
BEWARE AMEX AND OTHER CARDHOLDERS!!! Domio charged 4 erroneous unauthorized charges to my AMEX card in the amount of $1,243.88 for a 3-night stay from a Tuesday - Friday for a Chic One Bedroom Partial Ocean View. When I booked my stay, the charges that the website stated were billed to my credit card were for $495.XX. There was a 25% discount offering for booking directly through the website. However, I did notice some server issues when I was booking the reservation - I called Domio about it and asked them to note. There reservation system was booking and cancelling several reservations, but it was seemingly eventually resolved. However, when I looked at the charges from Domio after my stay, I saw 4 separate charges: $73.10, $614.46, $278.16, and $278.16 = $1,243.88. That's a HUGE difference from $495.XX (a different of roughly $748.XX)!!! Due to the system error, the agent I just talked to couldn't even see nor explain the two $278.16 charges! I also received several reservation and cancellation emails from Domio. I spent over 4 hours trying to get this all resolved, and the case is still pending. They asked me to prove the $495.XX amount - apparently when I booked on their site, the $495.XX shown as billed to my AMEX was different from the barrage of erroneous charges. Further, when I logged into my account on the website, the reservation didn't show a summary of charges! - so the company doesn't provide a way to provide evidence for recourse. I then spent another 2 hours figuring out how to use Google Developer tools to search my browser cache to find evidence that the remaining charges they left me are still incorrect (I will be reaching following-up on this evidence). BTW, 1) unauthorized charges are illegal, and 2) the unauthorized charges without line items breaking out sales taxes is also illegal.
