Business trip to Highlands Ranch. I have never heard of Home2 and found them on the internet. This particular hotel is 3 years old, so yes it's tight all the way around.
I was warmly greeted at the desk and the clerk prided in the fact that its was what he termed a "modular" hotel. I not sure what that meant, but I smiled and got my key. I went the to the third floor and was immediately assaulted by an odor of what I could only say was nasty feet. All the way down the hall. I was concerned but went to the room. Upon opening the, it was bright, spic and span, and the odor remained in the hall. The cable TV was not connected. That being the only issue, (it appeared that some one had pulled it to use the TV for a computer screen) The cable box on the back was also loose and hanging off. I unpacked and went downstairs to head out for dinner. I advised the desk clerk and he immediately notified house keeping and maintenance. I had forgot something in my room and headed back up. In that short time, the cleaning crew was on the floor and looking for the source of the smell and beginning to used sprays to rectify it. I left and returned about 1.5 hours later. The smell was gone and the TV was up and running with all mountings secured. I was in the room less than 10 minutes when the desk called and asked if everything had been taken care of,
That is the sign of a good, conscientious, pro-active staff. Nice Job!! Another plus was the laundry facility. Due to heavy snows I was stuck there for a day longer than planned. The machines were free to use!! That's never seen at any hotel.
Breakfast, is not on the same par as one might see at a Hampton,.. but it is good! Pre-packages sandwiches and other fair is made hot by only a few minutes in the MIcrowave. Directions on the sandwiches is bulletproof. It give you the number to push on the corresponding microwave and is ready! Waffles are made by you fresh. Cereals, granola, fresh fruits, bagels, pastries, coffee, yogurts, juices. Just the basics..., but, that is the concept. and it works! The have a good fitness facility as well.
The rooms are well designed with a unique rolling table that slides up under the ledge desks built into the room. The rolling table allows one to use it as a desk at the bed and as a table to dine when you want. You also have a separate living area. Divided off by a heavy curtain, which I think is smart.
The rooms, and I stayed in two different rooms on account of having to return due to the weather, were large. Both the one with two queens and the single king. The term suite is appropriate based on the design.
Aside from the hotel, dining in the area is simplified as well. There is a massive market area in the process of building and filling with stores and eating options. Rock Bottom Brewery is literally directly across the street. You can walk there in less than two minutes. Less than 5 minutes away (providing you hit all the green lights) is an completed complex with a Super Target and a plethora of other eating options.
I'm a Security Trainer contracted to UCHealth and HRH hospital is between the Rock Bottom Complex and the Super Target complex.
Easy access to the Highways makes this a no brainer. It's not over priced in my opinion.
Stay here. Appreciate it for what it is. Efficient. Clean. Comfortable. A nice perk..., the beds. Very nice and the sheets are stupid soft. Has a pool but did not use it. Don'tr know if its heated. I'll be back! You should try it!

We drive west to Colorado several times a year and we typically drive as fast as possible through crowded Denver and into the mountains but this year, our kids begged us for a hotel stay after 14 hours in the car so they could swim. I gave in and booked this pet friendly hotel about a week before spring break.
When we checked in, the staff was very nice and welcoming. As I rounded the corner to get on the elevator I saw a sign saying the pool heater was broken! You’ve got to be freaking kidding me. The pool was the ONLY reason we booked a hotel. Why didn’t the front desk tell us upon check in? Or more importantly, why didn’t the hotel manager, who could see on our reservation that we were traveling with children, proactively call us prior to arrival to let us know so we could make alternative arrangements without being penalized by their cancellation policy? Now that would have been good customer service. But no instead the front desk said we could take shuttle bus to another hotel where the kids could swim. Are you nuts? You want parents to load their wet kids into a bus and drive in the 30 degree temps to swim? Nope.
The rooms are fine sized. Definitely not clean up to Hilton standards. Lots of hair in the bathroom, muddy footprints in the entryway which is also your kitchen. The beds are fine but the pillows suck and my Hilton honors requests are always extra pillows and a high floor so naturally we were booked on the second floor and had to ask for more pillows.
I think I should have been offered compensation for the pool not working. The manager should have called patrons who booked in advance and offered an alternative place to stay if the pool was important to them.
Let’s hope they at least have some fresh food like HB eggs and fruit downstairs at breakfast...

I cannot say enough nice things about the Home 2 Suites. Most importantly, the staff are over-the-top friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great linens.
Located near The Children's Hospital (Highlands Ranch) and there are many close amenities (lots of restaurants, Starbucks, Target, movie theater, etc.).

They also offer better-than-average complimentary breakfast. There is a small heated pool, and an outdoor gas fire place as well. And there is a really nice fitness room, and complimentary washer/dryers. Really good value! Highly recommend.

This is a pet and family friendly hotel.

This was my fist stay in a Home2. I have to say I was impressed. The people working here are very nice. The entire place is brand new and well maintained. They have a great pool that is open till 11PM. They have laundry facilities. The room is huge and has a kitchenette in it. I really enjoyed my stay here and I will be looking for Home2 during my travels from now on! Highly recommended.

Stayed at Home2Suites while visiting family in the Denver area. They had a large suite available to fit my own family which was nice. The room was typical, basic but clean and the bathroom was a good size, fully-stocked kitchenette with microwave, fridge and dishwasher, dishes, etc. Disappointed there was no hot tub at this hotel because it was in a business park and it seemed to be mostly adults staying... the indoor pool was good size, freezing cold water when we were there so we didn't last long. Good fitness room with adequate equipment... could add another dryer or a swimsuit wringer near the pool as there was a big lineup for laundry. Breakfast at this hotel could be vastly improved. The offerings were slim, not very tasty. Watered down juice, microwave sandwiches, one waffle-maker, limited seating, grumpy staff... On our second day we skipped it, had to make extra time and went to Panera Bread and yes, I wasn't thrilled as I specifically chose a hotel with breakfast to feed my crew. Otherwise a nice enough place to stay.

Thank you vjeric, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am glad that our guestrooms worked well for you and your family! We will look into the temperature of our indoor pool to make sure that we have it set warm enough. I am sorry that our breakfast wasn't to your liking. Wee are constantly trying to improve, so I hope to see you again the next time you are in the area.
