We are staying in a unit on site. It's very retro....but spacious, good layout, very well equipped. The bedroom is big, bed comfy, fresh linen, good towels etc. Great quiet location close to beach and nice walking area and parks. The kitchen is better equipped than most apartment hotels we have stayed in on this road trip. Basics like oil, foil, gladwrap, bottle of dishwashing detergent (not mingey little sachets), soap etc. There are plenty of pots and pans, toaster, full size fridge and stove with oven. An onsite cafe for snacks, Supermarket and restaurants nearby too. Good aircon and WiFi...what more do you need.

Booked for two nights a cabin with deck etc as per the website. Arrived to find what we got was not like the description, more like a bare cell. Toilet tiles on the floor, “en-suite” was thru the laundry and the vanity was the laundry tub. So disappointing.
The outdoor area where you hope to sit and eat or have drinks was a crappy aluminium table in the carport with barely enough room to sit between car and laundry wall.
Also this is way away from Mission Beach.

Hi Trish, thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I am so sorry that your accommodation choice did not live up to your expectations. Had you of taken the time to speak with us about it after check in, instead of blaming the Wifi for your reason to leave after one night, we would have explained that the images you may have seen on the Website are those of our Beach houses, which do have a beautiful deck to sit on. What you in fact booked was a budget priced Far North Queensland Cyclone proof Unit, fully self contained and part of our Caravan Park. Yes, these units were built in the 70's to withstand the far north queensland weather hence the small quirky mosaic tiles on the floor, some guests refer to these as Retro and are fast becoming fashionable again. I am unsure of what you are referring to as the laundry as we don't have laundries in these rooms, you may be referring to the area between the door to the unit and the bathroom. The sink is stainless steel which when built was the best material to suit the climate, but it is a sink and certainly not a laundry tub. Our Units are clean, well priced and the images on our website of the one bedroom unit depict the style beautifully. I feel you may have made a mistake when booking so please don't under rate something because of that. Warm Regards and enjoy the rest of your holiday.

thanks to the management and staff for a lovely experience, we arrived earlier than normal but was allowed to check in. The room was great, spacious, very clean, and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. .The park is very tidy and very quite, everything you needed was provided, it is situated across the road from the main beach which is great, there is a lot to do or you can do nothing but relax.
The food from the cafe there is great and tasty one of the largest hamburger i have ever had. For the cost it was best value, we will be going back again. thank you

Stayed for 4 nights before xmas and we were very impressed by the value for money the park offers. We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and had everthing we needed. Yes it is a bit old and tired and could do with a makeover but haveing said that it was very clean and well appointed with utensils etc in the kitchen. The layout was a little odd with the entry being through the bathroom area but it worked and i think having the bathroom sort of outside means there was more space in the main part of the unit. Had fish from the cafe one evening and it was great. The location is in a quite part of mission - at wongaling and there is not a great selection of restaurants in walking distance but woolies is close and there is a camp kitchen for caravners and campers to use - our unit was self contained which we made use of. Would definately stay again

Hi Debra, such a great review thank you. Yes our rooms are a little bit dated but our housekeepers do a wonderful job cleaning them for our guests. We are glad that you had a good stay and were happy with your accommodation and your meal from the Cafe. I will pass your lovely comments onto the staff and we look forward to seeing you again sometime.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom units for two nights. Very spacious for a family. Location is terrific and the grounds very neat, tidy and clean.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming and offered great service including to a family member who joined us for a night and stayed in another unit.

Other guests we spoke to were very complimentary of the van sites and the privacy they had.
