Hotel was part of a series of hotel stops in Myanmar over two weeks. Grounds lovely with pool. Drinks on expensive side compared to local restaurants / other hotels but still relatively low cost by uk standards.
All group members reported that, like my room, the rooms were tired and most toilets didn't flush properly. Quite noisy with washing machines running into early hours of mornings and local dogs barking/howling.
Breakfast items were cold except freshly cooked eggs. If you got to breakfast as it opened then selections was ok but most items and cutlery had run out by 7am and not replenished despite asking.
Staff seemed to work hard to keep things clean and tidy but let down by poor state of the rooms and lack of attention to cooking food.
I would not recommend this hotel and if on a group tour suggest requesting an alternative.

Having stayed here 18 mths previously we were happy to return. Although the room was clean, although slightly dusty, the linen and towels were clean. The water was hot and the A/C worked well. However breakfast which previously had been acceptable was terrible. The staff were more interested more interested in feeding themselves than replemishing food. Hot food was cold bakery items were stale and the butter was rancid. Such a shame, l would now not stay here again.

Although this hotel was located a little out of the way down a dusty road, it was well worth the short journey. The restaurant was above the beautiful open air check-in area and provided an excellent variety of breakfast items with eggs to order and the choice of sitting inside or out.

Our room was a little way down a beautiful path and through the garden, past superbly maintained swimming pool and dining facility for dinner on the lawn.

We had our first dinner out doors in the shadow an old stupa and were fortunate to see a traditional marionette show put on for a group of French tourists.

The room itself was huge, a verandah up a few steps, a large bedroom, a dressing room and a separate bathroom – a little worn but it all worked and was wonderfully comfortable.

The staff were most accommodating and we would definitely stay again.

Our room was clean, very big and old fashioned - read airy with lots of wood! The air con was excellent. The bathroom/shower facilities etc were excellent.

This hotel is set well off the main tarmac road, down a sandy lane - which is the norm in this area. At the end off the drive is a restaurant called Mi San which is highly recommended for good food at a great price. We ate here for lunch and dinner.

The staff at the hotel will fall over themselves to help, and the service was excellent. As was the pool area and bar.

I would happily stay here again - if only to see the hot air balloons float over at 7am each morning. Great place to switch off.

The hotel is nice, the staff friendly. Breakfast is okay, the pool area already run-down but decently maintained. Probably what you can expect for the money you pay. Nothing to complain really. However, think twice before booking as this hotel accepts large groups. It was all nice and quiet until 2 large travel groups arrived and essentially took over the whole place (breakfast room, pool area etc). We felt very uncomfortable as it was loud all the time and some of those guests didn‘t know how to keep their distance.
