This is an old hotel. The reception is kind of bare. The room is old, the floor dirty. The bed needs another bedsheet for sleeping in. The shower room is grotty. The whole establishment needs upgrading.
The food in the restaurant is a average.

I stayed while my way back home via Cairo. Had to stay here. Although the room looked clean and tidy, so does the bathroom but the security was all none. I literally had to use the stone table behind the glass window and the wooden door in order to sleep peacefully in night. The vicinity looks terrible, as like in most places of Egypt. Shops open past 12 and closes by 2000 hrs. Anything you need, you've to find very hard. The hotel services in day are slow and in night, they just come to a halt. Make sure, whatever you need, you better ask before 2300 hrs else you've to wait until morning.
The breakfast service is slow, no choice for breakfast in MAP and the limited entities to have.
If you fall short of money and you just need lodging irrespective to the services, only then go for it.

When I arrived I was warmly greeted by the manager and given room 350, the only suite in the hotel and quite well appointed given the location. This is were the review turns ,the standard of food was extremely bad and the selection available from the menu even worse. It was common for us to wait up to 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged by a waiter and I never once during my stay had the correct food ordered, possibly due to the lack if English spoke by the staff. There was no hot water for a shower or to fill the large bath and as you can see from the picture the water pressure was almost non existent .The staff did try and are very helpful and friendly but this did not not make up for the service I and my team recieved .

The room was clean, bed was big and really comfortable but the shower was broken! Not enough tv programs, A/C very noisy. Everything in the hotel seems to be very old.
At the reception very polite and friendly hotel stuff make good impression, but one of them after showing my room was asking me for big tip so insistently (typically for native Egyptian).
In the room I saw a very big ants!
In the lights of all across the city of Suez and hotel's atmosphere, the pool was something different: really nice and clean!!!
The breakfast was good.
The city is not touristic destination, and I can not recommend hotel for family vacation!!!
Because of the nearby oil refineries the air smells terrible in the morning time.
It is dangerous to walk alone in night time in the city.
I guess that because of Suez Canal the hotel is used mostly by seafarers sign in/sign off the ships.
