Great place to stay, the room was very clean and service was excellent. The receptionist was very polite and accommodating. This place is great value for money will highly recommend for anyone who is staying in the area.
Room was up to usual Premier standards, had to ask for extra pillows as Covid has dictated the extras normally in the room have been removed.
We ate dinner in the Warrener Inn,very nice, good service,no problems.
Breakfast was good, excellent service any well cooked,my wife usually goes for the Continental Breakfast but it had been reduced in selection to the point where it would be very poor value for money.
The only negative is the noise, there is no AC but a blow air heater is fitted and makes a noise like a 747 starting up and you can't turn the damn thing off until it decided to switch off, that coupled with a noisy A road if you open the window even a little meant a very poor sleep which was a shame as everything else was fine.
Premier Inns always seem to get it right. Good rooms, good parking, good staff, nothing fancy, everything clean. This one is no different. Stayed for two nights and it's great.
Of course I had to do my Beast of Burden thing with the bags so after checking in we set about finding Room 145. Through the keyed door; check. Up the stairs; check. Through the firedoor, turn right; check. Walk for what feels like 100 yards along the corridor, then turn, do firedoor again, then gaze in disbelief at another apparently endless corridor......
Off we go.......to find 145 almost at the extreme end. I tell you, this particular Beast of Burden was looking for a sit down at the end of it. Especially as SWMBO's bag is twice the weight of mine. It's almost a route march!
Anyway, nice room. Excellent soundproofing; the main road runs past and with the triple-glazed windows closed, it's all but inaudible.
We ate dinner in town, but two breakfasts for two in the restaurant during our stay were excellent with cheery, friendly staff doing really well in difficult circumstances, with the usual few guests who were getting stroppy about food coming through slowly and "we have places to be". Great. A little forethought would have seen them get to the restaurant 15 minutes earlier than usual, given pandemics and panicking politicians. We could figure it out. Why not the stroppy ones?
Overall, good hotel. A shout too for Premier Taxis, Thetford, who for both evenings of our stay took us in to town for dinner, and brought us back again.
The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. No cups were in the room, but after mentioning to reception staff this was promptly sorted. The only negative would be that this hotel does not have air conditioning and the room was so hot! Trust us to pick one of the hottest weekends to go... But it does state, that there is no air conditioning. We specifically went for the car racing at Snetterton Circuit. The hotel is only about 15 minutes away, so ideally placed.
The hotel was clean, tidy and the staff were very hospitable. The restaurant was adapted for Covid measures and the staff were polite. The food was great and served quickly.
The only negstive, was that it was nearly thirty degrees outside and the room had no air conditioning, just a small fan. Some customers had their doors open to the corridor to allow extra air flow and to cool the room down. Other than this, it was a very pleasant stay.
