I can't say enough about this beautiful home. Meals are generous and delicious. The owner share the story of the restoration of this home/hotel. Every detail pleases, from the room appointments to the attentive, very caring staff, to the wonderful meals and friendliness. The atmosphere lends itself to conversations with other travelers or to a solitary stay, whichever one prefers. I felt like a welcomed family member myself.
This was the best hotel we stayed at in Nepal. A traditional house, so tastefully decorated. Centrally located, nice garden. The room was very pleasant, spacious and comfortable. Friendly and professional staff. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night!
This wonderful Hotel is just located next to Darbur square in Patan.
Hard to say in words, everthing at this place is just awesome! I get a room update for free and it was my most beautyful room since I'm traveling.
My bed was also the very best since a long time, like home.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was so delicious.
Check in easy, check out easy - all in all the best!
By the way, they have super fast wifi in every area of the hotel.
Based on the great reviews, we were expecting a pretty nice hotel. This place was nothing special. Over priced and underwhelming. We got 2 rooms- a double and a single. The double was tiny and poorly kept so they agreed to switch us to a nicer room. The new room still wasn’t great and had no hot water for the first day and a half. The other room ended up having a leak in the ceiling that constantly dripped water. Management was made aware of all issues and did after 24 hr fix the leak and hot water. No apology, no discount, just said “well, the building is old”. Not what I would expect from a hotel with great reviews and expensive for the area. Overall, fine hotel but overpriced and oversold for what really should be advertised and priced as an average guesthouse.
This beautifully restored Newari house is tucked away from the busy, dusty streets. Each room is cozy and unique. Best of all is the staff. They are so helpful and kind and will assist you in any way, from getting a car or recommending local stores. Definitely enjoy the dinner one evening. The cook will custom make a meal or prepare a traditional Nepali thalia. Yum! Breakfasts were great too. Having spent some time in various neighborhoods in Kathmandu I definitely suggest staying in Patan.
