Been to both, this place has a Casino, which is good but overall the amenities aren't to standard for a 5 star.

No iron in the room. I guess. But if you want something pressed you gotta pay. The pool is small but good, service was good. But overall the dress code makes this place a deal breaker for me. I understand you want good clients but this is Manila. You should allow some sandals and a hat!

I paid to stay here but couldn't gamble because all I brought from the US were sandals! I'm on vacation! Not a business trip with a suit and tie ready!

Rooms were okay, nothing you wouldn't see in a standard 3 star Vegas.

Thank you for your insight Mr. Ken P. Our goal is to be the best property possible and your insights will help us achieve that goal. Although we do not have irons as standard within the rooms, we do make them available for delivery to the rooms, I apologize the team did not better anticipate your needs in this regard. Thank you again for your feedback, I understand your time is important, I look forward to welcoming you back in the future to ensure your stay is truly memorable.

Stayed at Solaire Resort & Casino for total of almost 10 days with my family while vacationing in Manila, Philippines. Our Solaire stay experience was exceptional great. All the staff that attended to us directly or indirectly during our stay are consistently pleasant, courteous, respectful, professional, effecient & confident. Food & food presentation is great. Rooms are clean & neat. Room toiletries used are expensive brands. Resort amenities are great-spa, pool, gym & restaurant. Staff are friendly, courteous, respectful, professional, attentive to our needs, meets requested services in timely manner,
The interior design is fabulous. Floral arrangemt is so beautiful. Flowers used are all fresh.
I highly recommend stay at Solaire Resort & Casino. If ever I get another chance to vacation in the Philippines I definely will stay at Solaire again. 😊😊😊👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

I've been planning to check their spa and I was surprised that the prices of treatments are very reasonable compared to other hotels nearby. An hour massage ranges from 3,000 pesos to 4,000. And 2-3 hr treatments from 4,000 pesos to 8,000 depends on how many are you or the selection of treatments you want to have. The staff are very friendly, they offer ginger tea and water while you wait. There is an available staff you can call when you need anything like towels or robes etc. the facility includes jacuzzi for 4-5 persons a steam bath, sauna, shower, toilets, lockers and vanity area. They provide nice robes and rubber wrist locker key which you don't have to take off when you shower. When you use the sauna they give cold towels and water and a shower next door that's perfect to cool off. The massage rooms are clean equipped with bath tub, shower room and vanity. The therapist are well trained, they don't talk when you don't ask them anything and knows the massage routine very well. The massage beds are also very comfortable which made me sleep half an hour, totally relaxing. After the massage, they will give you ginger tea and they will patiently wait for you outside until you are dressed up. The vanity locker have hair dryers and lotions you can use. The spa is open from a12 noon to 6 am so if you come in late, they will gladly be of service. They will call you if you left some things which happened to me including my change. They even have a salon next to the reception in case you need a good nail cleaning and polish. It's definitely a perfect place to de stress and perfect time if you're busy and have only time to pumper yourself during the wee hrs.

Stayed in the newish Sky Tower, large comfortable rooms with great workspace areas for business travelers. Staff were accommodating, but its pretty self sufficient. Room service excellent. As for the casino, half full of mainland Chinese and half full of locals the one time i walked through. Not my scene in any case. The breakfast buffet was "okay" wish it was a bit more expansive. Not much to do at the hotel other than gamble, I wouldn't say its family friendly. Good stay nonetheless, did its job for my business purposes.

They do accept cash and walk-in customers are welcome although there are times when you'll be on the waiting list and the price is way way expensive. As regards the number of persons who can stay, I think it's an open secret. Legally, it should be 2 adults and 2 kids. you can ask for an extra bedding if you're five but they have an extra charge for that.

Hi, I suggest you get the bay view. Bay view rooms are almost always the rooms that get booked first. They give you a nice view of Manila bay, and even the pool. Garden view is tranquil, so it would be my second choice. For the times that I've stayed in a room with a city view, I've mostly stared at the parking lot and the other buildings surrounding Solaire.
