I travel to the area several times a year for work and I have stayed at this hotel 6 separate times over the last year. My current stay is going to be my last. Rooms are not cleaned very well anymore, the shower design is the worst ever and water ends up all over the bathroom floor, it sometimes takes 10 minutes or more to get hot water in the shower but the #1 issue is the lack of soundproofing. You hear every word being said in the room next to you and I have been woken up in the middle of the night by the person in the next room snoring! The rooms also lack a safe. On a positive note, the staff and the gym are great.
I came into Phoenix, AZ to attend President Trump’s even ( rally ) on the same day. My complaint is against front desk employee Shannon. She was extremely rude, bias, racist, and acted as a manger when she is not. As Shannon was checking me in, I asked if she could upgrade my room to a 2 bedrooms. She responded: “ there are no 2 bedrooms available in the whole building” “ we are booked “
I asked to speak with her manager. Shannon responded that manager was not available to speak to me. It was Wednesday, Feb 18th 2020 around 12:30Pm. ( MID-DAY) I insisted to speak with her manger. Finally she called her manager. Immediately, her manger upgraded my one night stay to a 2 bedrooms. The next day I called to ask for a late check out and Shannon gave me a hard time again. After struggling with her on the phone, she approved my late check out to 1:00PM.
I understand now why Shannon was rude to me. I was wearing MAGA TRUMP HAT and TRUMP T-Shirt.
Shanna was rude, bias, racist and bully. In addition, she tried to act as a manager and refuse to call her manager. She over step her manager authority. I have stayed in this hotel many times ( 4 or 5 Times ) in the last one year. This is the first time I was mistreated and discriminated. I did report the issue to her manager as I checked out of the hotel. No action
Took a long weekend to the Phoenix area and used the hotel as our home base. Quick check in and we were able to get a room on the top floor, which we always prefer. Very spacious room for a one bedroom suite. The room itself did not disappoint. The amenities did not either. The morning breakfast was mainly American food of eggs, sausage, toast, waffles and oatmeal. Plenty more than that as well. The layout of the common area’s was just extraordinary. From the outdoor area with a continuously burning fire to the nice gas grills residents can use it was pretty amazing and to have a small lake next to it added to the look of the property. No complaints at all here. If back in that area we would stay again.
Beautiful new place in south Chandler. The place was really great, free, easy parking and a good location. Room was clean and comfortable, free breakfast and happy hour Mon-Wed was a plus. Housekeeping never did show up on our first day, and why is happy hour only Monday through Wednesday? The bar isn’t even open on Friday nights???
I’d stay again, mostly because of the location and great room. The staff was pretty friendly and took hood care of us. Great little new restaurants in Ocotillo within walking distance
I stayed in RI Chandler for over a month, when in town for business. My room was clean and a convenient location for me. I had very limited interaction with the staff, but they were always friendly and helpful.
The only, and small, complaint I have is that the housekeeping staff was somewhat stingy and lacking with toiletries. I didn't have my room cleaned daily, but on the days I did, they would not leave shampoo, soap, tissue, etc. I would have to request to have some brought through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Some days they would bring it, some days not. But not a big deal, I would eventually get it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the RI Chandler!
