The Charter House is inexpensive, clean and convenient. Sure, there are fancier digs - some are even within a hop, skip and a jump but the Charter House has a Philippine Airline Ticket counter in the lobby (I do believe you can get a shuttle to the airport as well) and it is right across the street from Greenbelt and Glorietta Mall. What the hotel lacks in amenities it makes up for in location, location, location and COST. A decent breakfast is included in the cost of the room and there are outstanding restaurants within a short walk. They do have a swimming pool but it is not something worth the effort to use.

you get what you pay for, the place is at a perfect location, but the rooms are old and furniture as well. it is okay if you are just there for a night or usually always out. bed does the job, the bathroom as well. staff was very friendly, fast and helpful.

The hotel is located in the middle of the CBD, everything you need is a walk away, no need to commute. A convenience store with access from the hotel is also available. If you have a car, the hotel does not have a parking space (or their spaces are reserved for the managers, I was told) though the staff said that guest cars can be parked at the mall.

The rooms are clean and food is ok. Just be careful in the bathroom; there is a small faucet on the wall that I think is a safety hazard. It has sharp edges and could cause a lot of harm if someone slipped or walked through it without noticing. At least that's what I saw in Rm. 408.

For smokers, smoking is permitted only at the open area of the penthouse/pool.

My auntie spent her vacation here and booked this hotel. It has really a great location as this is in front of Greenbelt where it is accessible to all malls and restaurants. The hotel looks old outside but the room is really modern. The staffs were really nice and helpful.

The location is very handy, right next to the mall in Makati. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was fine, maybe requiring a few minor upgrades but nothing to complain about. Would definitely consider staying again at this hotel for future visits to Manila.

Hi There is a parking house on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. And parking houses all around Greenbelt. I don't know the rates as I don't drive in Manila!
