Beautiful sunrise view everyday for our 4-night stay. The garden view 1 bedroom suites gave us the needed space & view to work remotely while enjoying our family vacation. The bell boys were quick to assist, also the front desk. Housekeeping needs improvement (bathroom not thoroughly cleaned, also the rest of the suite). Toiletries provided were incomplete, also had to follow up extra bed request. Some hotel staff weren’t courteous & would not greet guests even when they would bump into us in the lobby or in the garden. Charged these to possible adjustments the hotel had to make in terms of HR training / recruitment. Anyway, overall, twas a pleasant stay to start off our family vacations once again with the easing of restrictions.

The Manor is my go to place when I want to recharge. Most of the time I just stay in the hotel. Their spa is excellent. Food in Le Chef is 5 stars. From their buffet breakfast to their steaks. A must is to try their pastries and bread to bring home. I love their raisin bread loaf and the choco peanut butter loaf. I would just sit down in my balcony and read a book to relax. If you’re into watching TV, cable channels are lousy. Wifi speed is above average... Speed test shows 15-20mbps in room. Weather gets really cold from January to February. Overall, I would highly recommend The Manor. I consider this as home.

Stayed at The Manor in CJH with my friends for a night, so I really don’t have much to say except that I loved the place!! Too bad though that we’re not able to try the other amenities as we were short of time. We stayed on a two-bedroom suite that is super spacious it can accommodate all of us. I think we were a group of 10-12 people at the time.

The room is very cozy, and complete that you have everything you need in it (a kitchen, dining table, living room, bathrooms) plus it has a veranda overlooking the Manor Garden which by the way is an amaaazing view. The interior of the hotel is more on wood work and dim lighting, which adds to the warm aura of the place.

I wish we could have stayed longer so we can check out the other amenities of their hotel. But nevertheless, it was a rather short stay but a very lovely one.

If there’s one thing I like about Baguio, it’s the warmth of the people which makes the natural cold turn to cool. Whether it’s interaction with the locals, the traditional and hip culture, the eclectic food choices, annual festivities, and most specially – the famous tourist attractions!

Here's my review of The Manor:

Location: The best in Baguio.
- Imagine being one with nature, in the warmth and cool embrace of Camp John Hay and its people. Just 10-15 minutes away from the city center, the journey to and fro this log-cabin inspired accommodation provider is an experience of itself. Passing by timeless landmarks, famous tourist destinations, food hubs, towering pine trees, all accompanied by unlimited supply of cool and fresh air from the mountains.

Check-in: Hassle free.
- The front desk were manned by courteous and professional staff who made sure my Mom and I are informed of the basics and room do's and don'ts. Tip: they strictly enforce a no-smoking rule in all of their rooms and hotel areas. But don't worry, there's (a somewhat hidden) area where smokers can enjoy their boxes of cigarettes without other hotel guests complaining.

Ambiance: Homey.
- My Mom and I felt at home at The Manor. The whole vibe of the log-cabin inspired building emanates a warm and welcoming embrace to all guests. I doubt anyone would feel different. And just to add, make sure you try their complimentary Hot moringa (malunggay) tea - it's superb!

Room: Fantastic.
- We stayed in a One-bedroom Suite (Garden view), and upon entering our room, my Mom and I gasped in awe. No, we took a deep breath and said “wow”. The natural light effortlessly illuminated the whole room filled with earth tone and minimalist decor.

- My favorite was the step-out balcony. Why? the view was nothing short of spectacular, day-or-night, (guaranteed). The lush pine trees, the masterfully decorated garden and greenhouse, panoramic view of the whole log-cabin inspired property, and an unobstructed view of the Cordillera Mountain range. Imagine waking up/getting to bed everyday to that kind of view right?

- The pillows were fluffy, not flat, linens were clean and spotless. Kudos to the housekeeping team for always maintaining the 5-star service and standard at The Manor.

- There were two toilets and baths, one beside the dresser and closet, and one near the dry kitchen and main door. The bathrooms were average in size, but still very well maintained and supplied with amenities/toiletries you would normally need. Water pressure was good, and the water heater worked just right. And yes, the toilet has bidet!

Le Chef: Must-try.
- An attraction on its own, Le Chef by Chef Billy King is regarded as one of the best fine dining restaurants in the whole of Baguio. Le Chef serves only the best and freshest of ingredients, and maintains top-notch quality not only in food, but also in customer service. Tip: Tables are always full so make sure you reserve in advance =). I will post a separate review on Le Chef's TripAdvisor Page, rating our dinner the night before leaving for Manila.

The Garden: Attraction for all ages.
- Everyone will love the Garden. It doesn't transport you to another realm, but rather makes you one with the lovely and lush surroundings. The landscaping, fountain, the lights, the pine trees, lovely backdrop of The Manor, every corner was photo op friendly.

- The Garden also houses The Greenhouse. This distinctive and one of a kind al fresco dining space is accessible to both in-house or walk-in guests. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or other special/romantic occasions, the Greenhouse’s relaxing ambiance plus The Manor’s lush surroundings and natural cool breeze will make every dining or event experience memorable.

Overall: The Manor at Camp John Hay makes every Baguio trip, long or short, unique and memorable. Even if you're not a there as a hotel guest, you can still visit and dine at Le Chef, take photos at The Garden, and participate at their events and promotions.

I have always stayed at The Manor every time I am in Baguio as long as there's an availability and I have always had a wonderful experience, but this last stay was the worse for me. I actually have decided to never stay with them again. My horrendous experience started during the reservation. I specifically asked for a room facing the garden, but I ended up in a room facing the forest. and they did not even try to do anything to make up for that. its sad that such beautiful property had slowly fallen to such bad state. aside from the wrong assignment of my room, the room itself is in pretty bad shape. the glass doors in my bathroom doesn't shut properly so the water leaks on the toilet side creating a puddle of water every time you shower. then the shower stalls drainage is not even working properly, its clogged. the shower knobs are not even working properly... I don't know what happened, everything seems to be in bad shape, from the cabinet doors from the toilet even to the room. I took photos and ill post them here... I felt so bad and frustrated coz I love this property and their staff. now it seems like the staff doesn't even care of their clients are happy or not. NEVER AGAIN!!!
