This was where we decided to start our travels, we thought after a long flight from the UK it would be nice to have a semi-decent hotel to start. We arrived late at night and check in was easy, we were shown to our room. The room to start was clean but very basic, the bed area looked nice almost as if for pictures sake, bed was comfy enough but pillows small and not great, ended up using travel pillows! The bathroom however was in dire need of a spruce up, it looked as if they forgot about it the last time they renovated. There was a bit of staining throughout the room, most noticeable the bathroom door. Our front door had a crack in it allowing light in and it just left us feeling that this area of the hotel was unloved! But hey.. nothing a blue LED around the headboard can’t fix! There is a balcony however ours stared straight at a wall, and the furniture is anything but inviting.

The pools were fairy pleasant, perfect for a swim and for kids. The area was quiet and far from the road. Breakfast was basic, eggs on toast, and a small buffet of some fruit and pastries, nothing amazing but you don’t need much more. The a/c in the room worked a treat and there was a safe, we had to ask to be shown how to use it though! Overall it seems judging from other reviews we have just been unfortunate with the room! We weren’t expecting a lot but for the price we were expecting a little more!

We stay for 6 nights. Basic room with a balcony. Close to the town and a walk to the beach. Breakfast very basic and we chose to eat at other places. Pool is great. Room has a mini bar but prices are high. Only problem is that you can hear your neighbors through the walls but only if they are noisy. Great hotel though

We spent one night here near the beginning of our time in Bali, and found the room very comfortable. It was a great nights sleep - the bed, fabulous. and the shower lovely and hot with good water flow. The room was one of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in during all our visits to Bali (of which there is many). Breakfast in the morning was simple but delicious - you need to ask for an omelette and toast to be made as they don't have this out on show in the dining area. The pool area here is lovely, very quiet and relaxing. The only downside to the room was the lighting was dim - we were unable to read at night, but when we mentioned this to reception, straight away they organised to get fix the light behind the bed and change the other bulbs.

For 500,000idr (equates to about $47aud) this was a well priced, very comfortable stay and we'll definitely be back. Definitely an Oasis in busy little Sanur.

My wife and I loved this relatively small boutique hotel.
Originally stayed way back in 1980s, what a difference.
Firstly the room was very well appointed on the ground floor overlooking a beautiful central garden and only metres to main pool and restaurant.
Hotel is down a lane way on a battle axe block and is extremely quiet.
The room was serviced each day and was spotless. It comprised tiled front verandah, queen bed, modern bathroom with large shower, split air conditioning, hot water jug and small under bench fridge. Security deposit box at reception.
All staff were fantastic and very responsive to any requests. We had no hot water for shower on day 1, fixed within minutes of reporting.
Wayan from hotel provided transport from airport to hotel late on Friday night arrival after waiting 2 hours for us to collect baggage and clear customs/immigration, no problem, cost 200,000rp.
Check in was very quick and bags taken to our room.
Room contained all information we required.
Breakfast was very basic and there was a slight communication problem re our requests for fried eggs sunny side up and soft, eventually got there.
Restaurant provided us with chilled glasses each afternoon with ice for happy hour. Also provided small jug of milk.
Fresh towels provided upon request for pool. Second pool at rear of hotel.
Hotel is ideally located with great restaurants only metres from entry, money change and Hardy’s supermarket about 200 metres away plus a short walk to Sanur beach.
Stayed 8 nights for $55 per night inclusive of breakfast.
Can’t wait to return.
