Good quality price/ratio for Hostel Raahi. We spent one night only in a double bedroom. Bathroom was clean and tidy, but we were expecting cleaner bedsheet.
Apart from that, even though we did not spend much time there, the personnel was nice and helpful. The breakfast on the rooftop very delicious and there was also an Indian musician to make the atmosphere authentic!
Five of my friends and me decided to stay at this hostel, based on a friends' suggestion. We had an entire room to ourselves with 3 bunk beds and an attached bathroom. Besides being a clean acco, the place had much to offer - from their rooftop cafe, an evening Diwali party on terrace and a fun indoor courtyard. The host couple were warm and kind and the receptionist was unusually smart and entertaining.
Hostel Rahi made our Jodhpur trip a memorable one :)
The staff was very helpful, but hostel is not located in a central position, it's quite far from everything in Jodhpur so you have to get Uber/taxi/tuc tuc to go everywhere.
My room wasn't looking like the ones in the photo, I was expecting a modern dorm and I got a very old and dusty one, with no lockers working.
Also, the offer a walking tour every afternoon (not for free), I organized my day to be back in time for that, but after 30 minutes waiting they told me "no tour today". I was quite disappointed
Raahi hostel aa-maa-zingg, such a gem in the blue city Jodhpur. Western standards, peaceful, spacious, clean, social, stylish, comfortable beds- it has it all. It has a wonderful terrace and common room. I came to the hostel exhausted, and the staff was incredibly sweet and took such good care of me, hospitality is of a rare kind. They have recently opened an uber cool Pizzeria, which offers freshly baked wood fired pizza at very reasonable prices. After a hectic day tour you can relish lip smacking thin crust pizzas and refreshing mocktails at Le monk Pizzeria with a mesmerizing view of the Umaid Bhavan Palace and Mehrangarh Fort. They also have a freaking club size English pool table. I would really recommend this place to everyone. This is the place to be :)
I loved everything about my stay at Raahi, I booked 1 night only but ended up staying 5! Tash and Maddy the owners we so welcoming, they went above and beyond to make my stay in Jodhpur perfect recommending things to do and places to eat. They are an easy walk or tuktuk ride from the centre but being just outside the hustle and bustle makes it a nice peaceful escape from the crazy. I stayed in a private room which is like staying in a boutique hotel with their clean and stylish rooms and later moved to a dorm room which was clean with good storage lockers and bathroom facilities were cleaned multiple times through the day. Communal areas are set up well to mix with other travellers, there's a kitchen available and they soon have a cafe opening next door which will be a game changer.
