I stayed here Nov 2019 and had a great time. I was here with my mom, aunt and sister and it was just what we needed. We booked the bigger room and it was spacious and clean for the 4 of us. The staff was friendly and spoke English. They were helpful when I wanted to know how to get to places, and also recommended places to eat. Charles Shen at the front desk was especially helpful. He's friendly, always smiling and willing to assist. Charles went the extra mile and made our stay fun and memorable. Thanks Charles!! The restaurant at the entrance of the hotel is also excellent, would recommend it.

We were in a main floor room off of the courtyard and the breakfast room/restaurant. The room was musty, did not have a window we could keep open as there were people outside in the courtyard. The bed was OK. the bathroom in our room had a step up to a door and we could have tripped. The staff were very friendly. The room was musty. There were some maintenance issues as well.

A lovely hotel in a road full of characterful buildings, shops and restaurants. The central courtyard is at the heart of the hotel, and where breakfast and dinner are served. We ate here for two of our three nights in Chengdu, and the food was delicious.

We were initially allocated a ground floor room, almost apologetically, and were told that we would be moved to an upper floor the next day when a room became available. We decided to stay where we were as it was so convenient just to walk out the door into the courtyard. Other reviews have mentioned the noise from the courtyard but by the time we retired to our room, we didn't notice it.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable.

The staff on reception were very helpful. They prepared a packed breakfast for us when we had an early start one day. We also booked a private day trip to the Great Buddha and the Oriental Buddha Park at Leshan which was considerably cheaper than a quote we were given by an agency on a nearby street.

The Culture Park is in walking distance of the hotel and we spent a pleasant afternoon there and in the nearby Taoist Qingyang temple.

We would certainly stay here again.

Stayed there with family during a vacation. It's a lovely hotel. We had a triple bed room that was spacious and clean. We were there during the off season,so it was not very crowded. Breakfast is mainly chinese, and there wasn't much western available except for cold fried eggs. So skip the breakfast if you prefer western food. There is a Starbucks about 15 min. walk away. An ICBC ATM is at the end of the street. The hotel can arrange for tours and cars.Plenty of restaurants nearby. Three Hot Pot places, one across the street. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was quite good.

Stayed there a week ago. Though we did not ask nor require help, a receptionist helped with the cases. We didn't use air conditioning so can't help with that, though the unit in the room looked decent enough.
