Given the circumstances that the friend and I were traveling under - the ongoing corona epidemic/pandemic, the hotel staff seemed almost indifferent to our apparent concerns and issues. And I had some problems with my room - the safe was not working, the chair in the room was very uncomfortable, the lighting poor, etc.
The service and breakfast were very good. Also the room was very clean and we had a wonderful view. Nevertheless it wasn't outstanding and the WIFI wasn't working at all- there was barely enough to send text messages. Also after contacting the front desk twice there was no improvement. The staff was friendly but that didn't help much in our situation.
This is a very clean, upscale and pleasant place to stay. The staff was attentive and there is a good restaurant in the hotel. The room was also spacious. Not too sure what else I can say. Great place for the price.
It is really hard to displease me. I was unhappy from minute one. I booked under a VIP and was offered nothing and when brought to their attention they said nothing showed in their system even though I showed him my VIP booking online. Ok, so what. Then we ordered coffee, put it on the room and went upstairs to the shabby room. They proceed to wake us up an hour later telling us the credit card on file also magically doesn't show in their computers and to come down immediately to pay. Top it off, no AC.
Bad smell in the room even if we asked a no smoking room.
