Me and my friend stayed here for 4 nights. On the beginning the room we had was not so friendly because we’re facing on a wall view. But after 2 nights we asked a room with a view and luckily this room facing the pool & ocean view was empty on that day so we decided to made an upgrade. Thanks to the friendly staff. Overall our stay was very relax, restaurant food was not bad, live band music start 6-11 pm. They picked up us from the airport an send us back that was smooth and fast transfer.

I also appreciate the free mineral water dispenser placed at the 2nd floor, just refill your glass pitcher from the room.

I will again choose Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel in my future Boracay trip. :-)

This is a nice hotel on the beach. It doesn't have direct access to the road though, so you have to pull your luggage a little way across the beach so I would recommend packing light, but I would say that anyway with the hopping on and off trikes and boats to get to the island from the airport.

We arrived early so the room wasn't available for us, but we were able to relax by the pool and have a bite to eat in the Italian restaurant. Both the pool and the restaurant have a nice feel and the food is good.

The rooms themselves were nice. Nothing huge, but they were clean and had everything you would want. I did see ants around the room but I also saw that when I stayed in the more expensive regency which I didn't think was as nice as this hotel. This hotel is smaller and so had a personal friendly feel to it.

The hotel is right on the beach in boat station 2 so you do get lots of people trying to sell items and trips. Be sure to haggle!!!

There were three of us in the room so they put an extra bed in which I stayed in and found it to be comfortable and I got a great sleep. The band do play in the hotel quite late and it is quite loud but I imagine most people staying in boat station 2 will be staying up late anyway so wasn't an issue for me.

There are loads of nice bars and restaurants close to this hotel so I would recommend it.

A month ago, my friends and I stayed here. The rate per night is not as cheap as most of the hotels in Boracay. Having said that, we expected a quality kind of stay. Mandarin Hotel did not disappoint.

Once we entered, we were greeted by the staff, with complimentary drinks. Plus points!! We availed of the suite with pool which gave us a good view of the beach. The room was so spacious so even if we were big in number, moving around was not a problem. The sheets smelled good as new everytime we come back to our room. Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. The gelato at the ground floor was also a plus. The gelato was super okay! Upon leaving, we availed of the shuttle service of Mandarin Hotel. They made sure that we reach the airport safely. They had their own van, boat and even had a different way in going there. All in all, our stay was perfect. If given a chance, would definitely come back.

Me & my wife stayed at this hotel for 4 days 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary & my wife's birthday. Communication with sales office in Manila was slow. They reply slow with standard answers with many request not answered. I requested for some romantic decoration to our room but nothing was done. We stayed at their 2nd floor Sea View Room (Room 225). Room was average size, clean & with a comfortable King Size Canopy Bed. Room have full amenities including toothbrush, bathrobes & slippers. Rooms on par with 4 star hotel but lobby & hotel area is like a 3 star hotel. Wifi connection in room is strong but slow. Only about 0.5 Mbps. It's not really seaview as the room is facing the pool & u can only view the sea while standing at the balcony. Breakfast was average with only a few choices but their restaurant staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient not like the front office with serious faces. Hotel is at beachfront with sun lounges provided for hotel guest. Location very very strategic located at station 2 nearby D'Mall & D'Talipapa market & all other happening restaurants & stalls. Swimming pool is clean. Room is not really sound proff as u can hear people dragging chairs upper level & live band music from evening but the music stop at 12 midnight. The only pro in this hotel are the location, friendly restaurant staff, beachfront & clean cool rooms. The cons are slow wifi, non smilling front office staff with no name tags, little facilities, small hotel ground & extremely OVERPRICED. (I paid for USD200 per night for Seaview Room). Will try another hotel beside it (Regency) for my next visit as that hotel looks more presentable.

This hotel is RIGHT in the middle of the action, BUT you’d never know it.

The room has a 5* feel
The atmosphere by the pool is 5*
The lobby, restaurant and surrounding area feels more like 3*

Ultimately a great value for the money because the room is above expectations, amazing views.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating

Most importantly the property was extremely secure given the location.

Fellow guests are friendly and sociable as well.

Soft acoustic music by the pool every evening to was a huge added bonus.

Special thanks to Mary for her tips on tours across the island!

Yes, you're right. It's under cover along the sides since there are poolside rooms. If you want to sun, you should head to the beach, just across the foot path.
