We were 7 people around the New Year time and found this place through myboracay. It was a heavens gift since we couldn't find anthing else in that range. We werent expectign much but we thought it was a brilliant place.

Its situated at Station 2 but frankly it makes no difference because it is probably 2 mins walk away from the beach. It appears small from outside but the place is huge and we had probably the best room in it - the apartment. The whole places gives a feel of Bali hotels with their serene plantations, curious everywhere and room structures as villas. The apartment was a huge 3 floor level villa and as it was newly done up and the interiors were done up excellently and luxuriously. There is an open kitchen for you to stock up and cook if required (better sinc ethey dont have room srvice), huge luxurious washrooms but the best were the balconie soverlooking the pool at te lower and at the top level. It made for the nicest setting for friends to relax.

The hotel had a pool and gym and the pool, while not big, was great to relax in.

The service was courteous and sweet. They lack some extra bedsheets and pillows because we weren't given those even though we tried. They had a arrangement with a massage place which was comfortable at very reasonable rates. They didn't have a restaurant but it works fine since in Boracay you are pretty much by the beach all day.

It was also very easy on the pocket and definitely recommended!

From the street you would never know what hides behind the glass doors. Absolute madness and noise outside and quiet, peaceful grounds inside.

We stayed in the palm house. There was 7 of us and the house was very spacious. Upstairs there was 3 queen beds but only two with en suites. Downstairs is another room with bunk beds and toilet and shower, a fully self contained kitchen, living area, large tv nd another toilet and shower.

The grounds are beautiful and the pool was refreshing. Breakfast every morning was delisious.

We stayed for 7 nights at Pinjalo during our Philippines trip in April 11 just before easter weekend. We enjoyed the hotel very much, especally as you can also use the facilities at calypso diving hotel with its beachfront bar.
The hotel is about 2 min walking from the beach, so you do not have ocean view. However, thanks to that it is in a very calm area and one can sleep. The gardens of the hotels are beautiful and there is pool, which we never used as we usually stayed at the beach.
There is second (diving) hotel just at the beach with another pool. The restaurant and the bar are also located at the calypso. Breakfast is served in the restaurant here. The breakfast was a rich buffet (asian style with rice and noodels but also western style with bread, eggs, bacon, etc).
Service is very good (there are lots of servants, so it actually has to be good).
We had twice the mongolian buffet for dinner, which is all you can eat and good food.
They have free wifi at Pinjalo as well as at Calypso.

We were also diving with Calypso. They have several western and Philippine divemaster / instructors and new equipment at a fair price (around USD 40 per dive).

Overall we really enjoyed staying at Pinjalo / Calypso and would certainly visit again, when coming back to Boracay.

Excellent accomodations Ground level room made for extremely quick access to the pool which was actually a bit small but still sufficient for sunning and a nice cool dip. Later afternoon, after the sun drops behind the facility, a 15 to 20 minute walk brings you out to the white sand beach and complimentary sun lounge chairs in front of the Nigi Nigi bar/restaurant climaxing your afternoon with hopefully -- ( if you're lucky ) a fabulous sunset. Two options for breakfast. Liked the Nigi Nigi simply beacause of no time limit to use your voucher. No problem enjoying our breakfast at noon or later. Plenty of good spots for eats and drinks. 7-11 is near-by. But no ice??!! This boy needs a lot of ice and that assignment proved to be quite a task. Hint: (Tube ice --across the street at Traviesa restaurant -- Throw the kids a little tip. ). The resort grounds are pleasantly quiet, serene and well maintained. As was our room. T.V., a.c., shower and toilet all just fine. Not sure about one bathroom feature however. No door? Couldn't figure this out and really never bothered to inquire about it. Overall, very happy with our choice here. At the rate we settled on not sure another property could match Pinjalo. Thanx folks. ( Note: Air Asia in and out of Kalibo -- what a nightmare!! )

My family and I recently stayed at the Pinjalo resort for several nights in April.

Pros:
-Great proximity to the beach and restaurants
-Breakfast is included in your stay, and the food was good.
-Great AC in the rooms
-Beautiful grounds
-Great pool
-Friendly staff

Cons:
-The internet was TERRIBLE at the resort.
-Restaurant staff was not friendly or helpful.
-No one came to service our room during our stay.
-Hidden fees at check in. We booked online and indicated how many people would be staying, but was still required to pay extra for 3 additional people (2 adults, 3 kids). This fee was not stated online.
