What more can be said about the Coast in Boracay that hasn't already been said.
Literally from the moment we were met with a big smile at the airport, to the moment we walked down the front steps one week later, we just had the most amazing experience!
Boracay is very busy, having come from El Nido but Coast is a quiet haven just set back from the beach. It's lovely to sit in Cha Chas and watch the crowds walk by.
It stands our from the rest. The exterior and interior design are so clean, sharp and funky. Local artists pieces are scattered everywhere....only available for sale in Manila at moment but shop is being built currently. And no we didn't notice any building work at all...staff told us shop and roof top bar will be finished soon.
Premier room on ground floor opened out to pool. Perfect size. Kept spotless by housekeeping. And the gorgeous little night time treats and messages about sleep! So unique. Only negative I can think of the whole week was lack of hanging room in our wardrobe for my maxi dresses...I used the rail in bathroom so no big deal!
We ate lunch 6 out of 7 days in Cha Chas...we actually could not find a nicer setting along the beach that had such fresh healthy food at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was perfect too...so much choice for Eastern and Western tastes. Chefs behind counter cooking as you watch. Decor amazing. View amazing.
Happy hour...we were shocked at how cheap a bucket of San Mig Light was! Cocktails made with fresh fruit also as you watch.
The sunset is worth making your way there for every night...unforgettable.
And last but not least the Staff 😊 wow. Have to mention a few in particular although all were outstanding. Batina, Camella, Mighty, Roz and our lovely security guard (on night duty from 28/1 to 4/2) so sorry cannot remember name.
A member of our family got seriously injured cliff jumping...Beware of it please. But Batina and the team went above and beyond to help. We cannot thank you enough.
Camella, Mighty and Roz are psychic....before I even looked around for a towel, a coffee or my fav Calamansi a go go 😊 they were in front of me. So kind and friendly and such hard workers. Took photos but won't upload as usual on TP!
We will be back to Coast as soon as possible. Keep up the fantastic work...you should be very proud.

Dear rcd354, Funshine Greetings from COAST! We appreciate your "exceptional" review in TripA and we are very thankful for your kind words. Your detailed description of your stay particularly the amenities, F&B and most specially our service is very heartwarming. We are very grateful you chose COAST as your residence in the island as we know there are several Hotels to choose from. We are very fortunate to have you. We are glad you noticed the big smiles the moment you arrive at the airport, lounging at Cha-Cha's view deck while enjoying your favorite food and drinks, sharp and funky design of the hotel, well crafted buffet breakfast spread, happy hour at a very reasonable price, and last but not the least our greatest asset... Our Staff. Thank you for mentioning Pettina, Carmella, Mighty, Roz and our security team who are always eager to serve. We look forward to your return in the near future and we can't wait to be of service once again. Till your next visit at COAST, we wish you all the best and in behalf of the staff warm greetings from your home in Boracay island. Yours truly, Randy Salvador General Manager

This is my first time to write a review in Trip Advisor as I would like to commend the front liners and the people behind Coast Boracay. Me and my girlfriend and her friend stayed here for 3 nights just this month (August 2017) and want to try what it would be like during the rainy season in Boracay. We're party goers but sometimes, we just want to relax and lie down by the poolside or at the beach. Anyway, when we arrived from the airport, we were picked up by the hotel's own Shuttle to go to the Caticlan seaport. When we arrived at the Caticlan Seaport we were greeted by a staff from Coast (see PIC1). They also have their own speedboat to go from Caticlan to Boracay Island and vice versa (see PIC2). When we arrived at the boat, we were given iced cold bottled water and a cold towel (I assumed it's for the heat to cool us down). Then the girl who welcomed us given us a safety reminder to wear the our life vest. The speedboat was fast (and safe) we didn't even notice that we are almost about to park at the coast of Boracay. We then transfer from the boat to another Coast's own shuttle to bring us to the hotel (see PIC3).

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted by the hotel staff. Everybody is smiling at us, and it felt like they really excited to see us (like they were long lost friends). But it was really warmth and you will not notice that you will smile too (see PIC4)! :) They provided us some welcome drinks and cold towel plus their warmth smile. The checkin was fast as well, seems everyone is well coordinated and they definitely know what they are doing.

When we arrived at our room we were greeted by some lovely treats and a welcome board (see PIC5)! How awesome is that?! I would like to share you some photos that I took in our room. It's right beside the pool area and it's really nice (good area specially if you have kids so you don't have to climb the stairs). See PIC 6 - 10.

Here are the HIGHLIGHTS during my stay:

- the airport transfers and buffet breakfast (at Cha Cha's) are already included on your room rates
- they have their own restaurant called Cha Cha's with endless food options from Asian, Western, Local, Japanese and so on. You don't have to go out specially when it's raining (during the rainy season)
- They clean the room twice a day
- Pool area and walkway are always clean
- unlimited popcorn and soft ice cream
- free infused water at the reception area
- coffee and tea inside your room
- bottled water is always replenish in your room
- In the early evening they will leave some treats on your bedside table with a thoughtful message card. So when you get back from partying you'll see that the hotel cares about you and thinking of you
- They have 3 pools, 2 for the adults and 1 kiddie pool
- A lot of beach beds and pool beds, A LOT!
- Free wifi all throughout the hotel and Cha Cha's restaurant
- I think, the only hotel in Boracay that has Flat Widescreen TVs and take note with NETFLIX. Good to utilize when it's raining and specially for long staying hotel guests.
- They are not fortune teller but they know what you want!

So I was planning to fly my DJI Phantom 3 to take a bird's eye view of the hotel when I noticed that my RC isn't working perfectly. So one of their staff with a 'HANDY' print on his shirt (technician/engineer) took a closer look and unscrewed the RC. We found out there that the spring was detached. So we need something to put it back on or stick it on for good! So I ask the front desk where is the nearest hardware so I can buy a stronghold glue? The nearest is in D'TALIPAPA which I think is quite near about 1-2 Kms from the hotel. SO I walked out of the hotel and after a few steps, this concierge guy, I think his name is John told me that his team will pick me up and use a shuttle to drop me off the hardware. OMG! I told you they know what you want. Thanks JOHN (See PIC14)! So I used their shuttle to go to the hardware. Anyway, when I came back, the HANDY guy was waiting for me. He was able to put back the spring in place and just waiting for it to be glued. The RC was fixed and I was able to flew my drone took a few shots of the hotel.
(See PIC11-13)

Overall, my stay was perfect! Thanks to all the staff of COAST Boracay. You are all doing a great job. And I think, and I feel... that you really like what you are doing.. Brilliant!

In a customer perspective, I can see that you really enjoy making each guest feel comfortable through personalized gestures, relax - for being a fortune teller that you anticipate what a customer need and want, and to have fun with your overall amenities.

I am definitely recommending COAST and will choose this hotel again when I get back to Boracay in the future. Thanks COAST for the experience.

Sharing some of my photos in PIC15-20.

Thank you for reading! :)

This review is extremely overdue - I think I have been putting it off because it is hard to find words that would do this property justice. This was our family vacation a year in the making. I religiously visited Trip Advisor on a daily basis, reading reviews, re-reading reviews, looking at every picture and asking myself - am I making the right decision? Will this be the right place for my family? Will they like it? Will I like it? Are these reviews legit? How can so many people have such a good experience?

Believe me when I say without a doubt that you will not be disappointed by the Coast. From the moment you are picked up from the airport until you're brought back to depart it's a truly pampering experience.

I was booking from the US and worked with the hotel directly on my reservations. The team made it easy to book arrangements via email and answered every little question I had (can we have adjoining rooms? Yes! Can you accomodate my child with allergies? (for the most part, yes). Can you change my room because I want a different one? Yes!).

A friendly representative met us at the airport - once we were picked up we didn't have to lay a finger on our luggage. From the terminal to the boat to the van to the hotel there was always someone there to assist with the bags. Check in was a breeze and we were welcomed with a nice refreshing drink. We were promptly shown to our rooms - and the pictures don't lie - modern, well maintained furnishings comfortable beds were in the rooms. Extra thanks for having a third bed set up in the second bedroom without us having to ask for it!

Cha Cha's amazing - breakfast was the best and they changed it up enough each day that you could never get tired of the food. We loved the food and went to the resto for dinner, lunch, ordered room service - staff was wonderful and always friendly.

Every staff person we encountered during our stay was friendly but not too overbearing. They were always helpful - even going so far as to dropping us off at the town church for mass and arranging to pick us up on our first day on the island.

Special thank you to Kevin who played chess with my boys at the pool, to Jhondel and the entire Cha Cha's crew who made sure our stomachs were full.

We hope to return again to Coast someday!

The arrival: Upon arrival to the hotel, we were ushered into the small lobby where there was not enough room for people and their bags. Check-in was hectic. Luckily the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast is included in the room rate, as well as daily snacks that include a rotating range of ice cream flavors. Cha Chas, the restaurant where breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served has an extensive and superb menu. No matter what you're in the mood for, you can find it and there are no worries for disappointment. I was very impressed with the quality and variety offered at breakfast.

Food and beverages are no longer allowed on the beach, but if you are lounging in Coasts private beach area you will be regularly served fresh and cold water. The beach is clean and for hotel guests, beach mats and towels are provided.
The rooms are cool and modern. The beds and sheets will have you debating whether to go out at night or order in. The rooms were cleaned and maintained well.

Cons/Negatives:
No hair conditioner, only "conditioning shampoo" which after a day of diving is little use to the saltwater caked up in your hair. The walls/floors can be quite thin. On a few occasions we could hear furniture being dragged across the floor above us, televisions from the side rooms and the kids playing/screaming in the pools.

Hi @thegizzywiz! First of all, thank you for this question. Good observation! We're grateful for the reviews talking about COAST and how our guests find our amenities. But of course, we understand your concern as we know that the white beach is one of the highlights when anyone goes to Boracay. True that there are months when the shoreline has algae but we can guarantee you that as of now, it's not the algae season. We also make sure that our beachfront is maintained and trashes are nowhere to be seen. Hawkers are kept at bay. We also have our security personnel around to make sure that all our guests are safe while lounging on the beach beds. Boracay is still as magnificent as ever! We hope to see you soonest in COAST!
