Good breakfast, the private room was nice with a wide bunk bed, own bathroom. Angelo in the reception was really nice and introduced me to some other people from Denmark who I ate dinner with that night. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed socializing with them in the evening. There were daily activities, one night there was a really good barbecue. The location of the hotel is also very good, only a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars. The only thing I can really complain about, and which also quite annoying; was that the WiFi was not working because of some problem with the internet provider, and there was no coverage in the room at all, but this will probably be fixed soon.

Quite a chilled hostel, I booked a private bunk room which was clean and spacious. Everything was great including the breakfast. Special mention to front of house staff Angelo who went above and beyond during my stay including to help book a tricycle for 4am. I would stay here again!

This hostel is absolutely incredible. To begin with, I must shout-out to Angelo for his exceptional hospitality skills and zest for life; he is so considerate and passionate and is born to be in this industry!!! He even joined us on a day trip which was so much fun. Now, about the hostel! Chic design, great common area and dining terrace with a bar. Beer pong with the staff is a must, very fun! June was a great partner! The breakfast offering was good and free!! I stayed in both a private room and then a dorm which were exceptionally clean, beds big and comfy, charging sockets near beds, plenty of space, big lockers and great aircon. The communal showers and bathrooms are great. I'm sad to be leaving but I will return for sure!!!! P.s. there is constant renovations going on to keep the place in decent condition, this won't ruin your stay at all though!

Great Architecture and Great Service
Starting from check in to check out Angello was helping out of the way.
Room was adequate for me, bathroom was nice, facilities and lights are more than necessary.
Breakfast sitting area was nice and green,
Staff at restaurant was good. I had best omelet in Phillipines.
Angello was always helping in everything.

Location - it's in the town but minutes away from the busy streets which I really like cos the ambiance is cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The common area is quite spacey too. You can read books in the couch, do some work remotely, just about anything :)

Food - buffet breakfast is included. I rarely eat in the premise so I can't comment on this one but I don't remember having a bad tasting food too. ;)

Staff - THE BEST! Shout out to Angelo and the other one whom I forgot the name (i'm sorry) in the reception. Claire and RJ in the bar, and every staffs at Spin! They really look out for you and will engage you to the activities, you'll never feel lonely even when you're traveling SOLO.

Room/Bed - Pretty big bunk beds in dorm rooms with storage lockers for each. Only thing that I didn't like is that there is no curtain for each so, there's not much privacy in there.

Comfort Rooms - All dorm rooms shared a common comfort area which, if I remember correctly, consists of 8 toilets and 6 showers. AND apart from that, they have 3 separate bathrooms just for GIRLS ONLY(which is one of the many things I like in this hostel).

The Bad? I honestly, couldn't think of any. Just the curtains. I only stayed with them for 3 days but I would love to have my whole stay there during the trip only if they aren't always FULLY BOOKED.

I'll sure be back and recommend this place!

Is the single private room big enough for a couple or would a private bunk room be better?
Answer from lriglevart
Jan 2018 |
The private room with a double bed might be a bit tight for 2 people, but do-able depending on how much luggage/gear you have with you. Not sure if or how much bigger a private bunk room would be. Maybe check with the staff if the bunk room is actually bigger.
