I had to spend one night in this "hotel" on a business trip. I got in around 9ish pm and it took them 45 minutes to make a vegetarian pizza. Internet didn't work at all in my room, staff leaves at 11 pm so you're basically alone in the house. They say breakfast starts at 7 am but NOBODY was there until 7:45 am. I ended up paying 70 dollars for no internet, no service and a cold room over a loud bar.
This is a great-looking small boutique place above a restaurant with great design and style, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and helpful staff - David asked the day before if we needed help getting to the place which was great. Location is perfect in Zona G.
However it just doesn't quite feel like it's set up for a hotel from a noise and security perspective. The music from the bar is quite loud in the room - it didn't matter too much for us as we were going out, but you wouldn't be able to have an early night or relax after breakfast or in the evening and it did feel like we were just in a quite nice room above a bar. There's no safe in the room and nowhere to securely store bags - something we felt should be necessary considering the restaurant has an open door in central Bogota. The price didn't reflect our experience in comparison other places we stayed in Bogota, however not a bad stay at all if you want that trendy, buzzy vibe!
This is mostly in response to a level of being aware of noise and lack of being able to sleep if you want to somber off before 11:30 pm here.
We had a bar facing room and the space and bed were great!
Our only complaint is that they should inform people who want to sleep to put them in a room facing the street and not the bar/restaurant as that was extremely loud till midnight or so. I’d provide ear plugs, good ones, to quell this only complaint.
Otherwise a hidden little gem especially for the price and neighborhood!
Very hip and stylish boutique hotel near the Chapinero neighborhood. The area felt safe and the decor of our room and the bar restaurant were fabulous. Our room III wasn’t huge but was perfect for us and had a great bathroom. The bar serves excellent cocktails and the breakfast included with your stay was delicious. There is minimal English spoken here so make sure to brush up on your Spanish if it isn’t your first language but they were very patient as I stumbled though!
Mid July I stayed for one night at this charming 4 rooms hotel. I had a meeting with some partners who recommended this place. Its a charming house, rooms are nice, good shower, and a great bar, Is like arriving to your house, but in Bogota, they give you the key of your room and of the front door, As I was leaving early in the morning, before the waiter was coming, they prepare my breakfast which was fresh fruit and told me to serve myself from the bar. Really very nice policy. I came back late that evening just to collect my luggage before leaving to Santa Marta and had a chance to chat with the owner, ( a young and well looking lady), who told me that this hotel was a dream for her. I can hardly recommend this place if you come to Bogota, just need to change the windows, because of the noice from the street. She told me that it was her idea for the next future. This place is very well locate do some good restaurants.
