We were part of a large group visiting from the U.S.A. While looking at the website the hotel looked great. In reality it was a different experience. The air conditioning did not work properly. We lowered the temp as much as we could but it barely helped. We could not get towels in a timely manner. The room was not cleaned (bed was made and towels replaced late; never vacuumed). We found mold on the curtains. Both pools were brackish and were told not to use the big pool. The gym was extremely warm and seemed to not have air conditioning. Essentially, what you see is not what you get. Staff was pleasant, polite and tried hard.

I shared a double bedroom on the third floor. It amazingly spacious! i feel like it could host a 10 person slumber party. The balcony was also very spacious and opened up to the absolutely beautiful view of the ocean and pool deck. The view makes you forget how dirty the ocean water is.

I stayed for 3 nights and my room was cleaned only once. My friends in other rooms did not get their rooms cleaned at all. The toilet drainage is very bad as the toilets get clogged up very often.

The breakfast served was not the best ever but it is edible.

The hotel itself is very beautiful and clean. The complex has many shops and best of all has a cinema and 2 night clubs.

The wifi in the hotel is amazing and totally reliable.

There is always a taxi or tuk tuk loitering nearby for easy transport.

The Hotel really needs to hire mo people with a basic knowledge of English. Communicating with staff was quite a problem.

I have just spent the week at the Hotel. The front reception area is huge with wasted space everywhere.
The rooms are very spacious all overlooking the sea.
The quality of the fittings and linen is ok. The number of light switches is very strange and everything is marked in Chinese.
The restaurants are definitely to be avoided but with so many lovely restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel, that is not an issue.
Be aware of the specials that the reception don't tell you about.
Like the free Spa treatments if you are staying for longer than 2 days.
Also the breakfast is included (not too bad)
The pool area is a disaster with a very bad layout and no staff in attendance.
The Hotel isn't busy at all so I would say that it's good value for money.

I attended an International conference in the adjacent Conference Centre and believe I could not have done better.

The hotel is new and has four restausrants. The main restaurant remains the best for eating while the specialist areas are great for special didning (especially intimate / small group dining). The food in all is well cooked and well presented. My only reservation was the bar which was a little lacking in character.

The rooms are specious. They have different layouts and have made an effort to give each room a unique appearance (so the wicked can recognise where they have woken up! The facilities in each room are many and you will spend the whole wek trying to work out what each of the eighteen electric switches do! You have total control and the environment management is totally yours and execellent.

You will see the hotel as your plane comes in to land and the view of the sea from the roos is even better. You are metres from teh sea. The sea water could look cleaner (it is not dirty) but is gloriously warm . A walk on the beach is a must.

The hotel has a pool and a fantastic gym. Eat as you can easily shed ....!

The staff are tremendously helpful. Word of warning: a number of them speak Portugues only and English is a struggle: if they say "wait", do just that while they fetch somene else.

Ther is an ATM in the hotel that gives away local currency.

I will be staying there again and again ...

This is not 5 star hotel. The hotel wanted to increase my rate despite showing them confirmation from Agoda. The room was spacious & nice however there was no hand towels. The mosaic at the bottom of the pool was green, looked like fungi and no deck chairs or any chairs and tables.
Tne breakfast was 3 star, bacon was poor quality and milk used in coffee was aweful. The staff in the dining area are not properely trained and seemed to be afraid and unhappy.
