Thank you Luc and team for a wonderful stay in your beautiful Riad. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and were delighted with our choice of accommodation. Beautiful room, attentive staff and delicious breakfast each morning. Organising a private transfer through Luc is also recommended.

Thank you for hosting us during our stay in Marrakech - a tranquil retreat in the heart of the chaotic market.
Note to any future persons who have booked to stay - bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper... Early wakeup call from the crowing rooster and prayer call can be heard (adds to the experience) :)

Good luck beating Ireland in the Six Nations Luc

We were transit and stayed at Markaal for a night. The night manager met us where our taxi dropped us and helped us with our luggage to our room. It was beautifully decorated for a honeymoon. He asked us if we wanted to have dinner there before sending the cook home. The room was quiet. Since the refrigerator was not working, they put all our foods and drinks in the main refrigerator. After breakfast, the manager helped us to contact our tour guide (booked separately), helped with our luggage to meet the driver,... Their service is A++++

We stayed there for 4 days last week. The host Luc is very nice and friendly. Since our room on first night was noisy he shifted us different room and in fact gave us two rooms so that our family can be comfortable. The breakfast was nice but mainly sweet.

We booked two tours via Luc. Both the tours were expensive compared to market price however since Luc was so nice we booked with him anyways. Our second tour to three valleys and Imlil was a total disappointment. We had agreed in advance details of our trip, however, the driver Tarik refused to take us to Imlil (apparently because it would have been a long day for him) and was very rude and unfriendly.

To conclude everything other than booking this tour was perfect.

Dear Vulan, Thank you for your comment that punctuates your family stay at Riad Markaal, We try to give you satisfaction on all points during your stay, This is how you reserved a room for yourself and your two children. To be nice I offered you not a room, but two other rooms in the riad, for your comfort and well being without asking anything in return. It is sometimes difficult in spite of all our efforts to satisfy our clientele, which is demanding and I understand it very well, including with the breakfasts, which are one of the many very important points for us. The excursions that we can organize from the riad, remain at a reasonable price and especially Tarik, who is a charming boy is absolutely available for you. I have only praise for him for 5 years that I collaborate with him. It is true, however, that when you returned from your excursion, you told me about your wife's feelings on the roads of the magnificent Atlas, which had frightened her. I am not content to be at your service permanently, I want you to enjoy your stay. My first concern is that you can enjoy the best benefits at the best price, avoiding tourist traps, this is how Tarik with all my confidence, he knows me and knows that I am very uncompromising on this point. Sometimes all our efforts are in vain ..... However, I am happy that your stay at the riad, was held in good conditions. Kind regards, Luc

My fiancée and I stayed here in January 2019 and absolutely loved it. The Riad itself was in a perfect location, and had everything you'd need. The rooms are very standard size but I felt gave it a good feel to the room with the designs.
We chose to go in January to avoid the heat and for the good prices - although this Riad has a cheap price tag per night, it by no means lacks quality. Breakfast was very nice and we were greeted with brilliant service throughout out stay - even enjoying some mint tea on the house.

I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking at visiting this incredible (and somewhat mad/busy/hectic - a good thing) city.

Do not look na for any other place to stay:) book your room here because of :

atmosphere

Mr Luc speaks english, french and spanish so it is easy to communicate with him. Girls who are the personnel communicate rather in french. All people there are nice and friendly.
