Very nice people, doing all for me, to feel as much at home as possible. The room was very nice and clean. Would not know what to change, if this would be my own place. Would have loved to stay longer.
Super comfortable, the gentleman at reception could not have done more to ensure our comfort over 2 nights. A quiet, comfy and clean room. A pleasure to stay and highly recommend this lovely little spot.
Pulled up here on New Year’s Eve after an exhausting trip stressed ( my village was burning Cobargo) I didn’t know wether I had a home left which is why I just checked in did not ask price. Not what would I ever normally do and it was not a planned trip. Room was very tidy and clean but it was just a motel room. Later the next day I noticed the docket $165 which I thought was expensive checked on line to find price was actually $145.. He asked where I was from so knew my story and clearly just added on an extra $20. Bar and restaurant not operational
Recent 2 night stay here . Warm, friendly welcome and good food in the dining room. Try the lamb shanks ! The rooms perhaps a little dated but clean and comfortable and well heated . Cooma is cold at this time of year . Surprisingly quiet despite closeness to the highway . Would stay again .
Just had 3 nights at Cooma Motor Lodge Motel for business trip.
Overall, my stay was most pleasant; the queen bed room was very clean, well presented and sufficient for the purposes of my stay. Comfy bed, decent shower/bathroom, TV (although only commercial Free to Air channels unfortunately), separate chairs and coffee table, bar fridge, usual coffee and tea supplies, A/C and good work space for my laptop etc.
The site host and staff were thoroughly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant has a limited menu and I dined 2 nights; the lamb shank with vegetables was delicious; perfectly cooked and the meat falling off the bone. The chicken Parma not too bad either.
The location is ideal, service station next door, Aldi behind, McDonalds down the road, BWS, ski shop and hire equipment (obviously seasonal) and a short walk into town centre.
I’d recommend the Motel for anyone needing a few nights as I did, and I will certainly look to returning later in the year for a weekend getaway at the snow.
