Stayed here following a long days walk, the welcome was pleasant from Jean & Brian. No offer of tea etc & boots had to e taken off outside in the rain, nowhere to lean/sit to take off.
Once shown to our twin room we quickly came to the conclusion that this place was all about maximising profit over comfort. The room was very small & squat, extremely small bathroom with no room for wash kit, few toiletries, lightbulb not working, shower poor just adequate really.
Kettle in room with one packet of biscuits (3), UHT milk.
Breakfast very poor, had to request toast & extra tea, sad really as host were pleasant but will not stay or recommend again, I will also be complaining to the company we booked with putting us in such poor accommodation, especially as alternatives were available.

I never ask people to take there boots off outside, I welcome you into your breakfast room/lounge where chairs are available and a dedicated area is provided for dirty boots with newspaper available to stuff inside your boots and a heater to dry all your wet clothing. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and fresh milk is available in your fridge in the your breakfast room.A stool/table is in the en-suite for your wash bag and other shelves and surfaces are in abundance for your products.The shower is a top of the range mira shower and we regularly check and clean the shower head.As for a bulb not working these are also checked everyday as it is part of the cleaning process so it can only have gone out when you occupied the room Fresh fruit, yoghurt,cereal,porridge,full English breakfast or any combination is available.I am always entering the breakfast room to ask if you need more tea, toast coffee etc.I would have preferred you speaking to me directly then I am able to sort out your observations/complaints. I am beginning to wonder if you actually stayed at my accommodation!!!
