Having stayed last year (2013) in the new gite on the site for a family holiday (two adults, three kids), this year, we returned with my parents. We stayed in the gite, my parents in the Moulin itself, although on a room only basis (as they breakfasted with us). We stayed for 11 days in total.
We were sad to hear that the owners were changing at the end of our stay - we very much liked Madame Moriette - but I am sure the new owners will offer a similarly warm welcome. Speaking about the gite rather than the Moulin itself, it was well equipped (we took large drinking glasses and mugs this year, and have left them there for future visitors - you can't drink a pint out of a tiny tumbler, or a decent latte out of an espresso cup) and very comfortable. There is a double master bedroom and a twin room, with a sofa bed in the lounge, but we took an inflatable camp bed for the twin room so the three kids could be together - there was plenty of room.
What really appealed to us about this gite was the rear garden - which is massive and for the exclusive use of the gite. We spent many afternoons sat out in the garden, picking damsons from the trees for our dessert, along with blackberries and strawberries. We even had a couple of peaches!
There is free wifi here, but it only really works in the Moulin and in the courtyard at the front. Again, we'd visited before so expected this, and I had taken a plug-in booster (there's an outside plug socket from which I could piggyback the signal) so we did get basic wifi in the gite, but I was probably being a little cheeky!
Watch out for mosquitos - they are particularly vicious here - but otherwise, another wonderful stay, and I am sure we'll be back again.
