This Hotel was a real find, excellent location, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfasts & attentive staff. We stayed in room 32 so we had a side view of the lake & a breathtaking view of the mountains, we understand some have grumbled about a view of the bins - only if you dangle from the balcony - I never found the need. This really is the perfect location & a Hotel we will certainly be returning to - Room 32 again please.

Was not disappointed with this hotel. It is in a very central location with easy access to the town centre, cable cars, bus stops and ports. The only downside is that it is on the main road and the traffic is quite noisy, however you do soon get used to it. The breakfasts are great with pretty much everything you could ask for. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating when on our last day there was a thunderstorm and she let us keep our room. The room was lovely with a great view of the castle and the lake and I would not hesitate recommending this hotel at all.

Yes this hotel is a 2 star because of its facilities but don’t let that put you off. This is the cleanest 2 star I have stayed in and it has a fantastic location in Malcesine. The included breakfast was just what we needed to start the day with gorgeous views of the castle and lake. They were very accommodating when our flight was delayed and left the key outside the night door for us when we arrived. Ladies, take your own hairdryer, the one provided in the room is no good!! As previous reviews have mentioned, the noisy road is an issue but we kept our balcony door open at night and got used to it.

In a great location, within close walking distance to restaurants, shops and the ferry port.

The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The bathroom could be bigger, especially the shower space. We felt like we had the curtain wrapped around us.

Breakfast was good and we sat outside on the terrace every morning with great views of the lake.

The only down side was that we were charged extra for aircon, the internet didn't work, it was noisy outside and every morning around 5am we were woken up by the rubbish truck.

Stayed here for a week and can't say a bad word about it! Arrived far later than expected but still had a quick and efficient check in service.

All the rooms have some sort of view; ours had a lovely view of the castle from the spacious balcony and window. The room was clean, comfortable and secure. The in room safe was easy to use and locked easily.

The shower was a decent size and the daily cleaning service was efficient and thorough. Perhaps the nicest surprise was that we had a recycling bin in our room, perfect for empty bottles, receipts and paper packaging from tourist purchases!

The breakfast terrace has a brilliant view and breakfast is served until half ten. Hot food is a choice of toast or boiled eggs, but the continental options were varied. Plenty of fresh fruit and breads to eat and lovely little cakes too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just wish that air-conditioning was free! But, since we knew we would be charged we were more than happy to pay the daily seven euro charge. We would definitely recommend staying and would be happy to return
