Write a reviewWe stayed here for three nights costing us $360 all up. The pool was green and not up to swimming standard so we weren’t able to swim at all for the three days we were there. When we booked we were told by the female on the phone that they gave us this particular room because all the other rooms aircons leaked. Too bad this aircon leaked like a trooper as well. We had to put a BUCKET (not a bowl or cup) underneath the aircon because it was leaking that much. It was far too hot to go without and by the time we realised it was leaking (about 10pm, an hour after we turned it on), reception would have been long shut and we would have had to get an electrician in. Not happening at 10pm on a Sunday. Should have just let it go so they could have dealt with the water damage to their property. The aircon was barely cold even with the leaking and the room was dirty with dust bunnies under the bed. Pretty disgusting. I know this is a remote area but tourist come from far and wide and you should have more respect for your business. I would NEVER recommend staying at this park. When we notified the owners of the aircon leak all she could say was “oh okay” and sent us on our way. After spending almost $400 you would expect to have a silent sleep and a cold aircon. Don’t recommend.

Many thanks for your review. We have started to maintain the park by updating cabins as we can, as well as updating amenities, gardens and outdoor areas. This unfortunately must be done when the park is quiet as we don't have staff to assist. We hope to see you coming through Normanton again soon, where hopefully you will be able to experience the upgrades that will have been implemented

Had a great nights stay in a duplex type cabin, nicely appointed room right in the middle of town. Nice shady grounds, good facilities, pool, camp kitchen etc. This is my new place to stay when in Normanton.

4 bbqs, pizza oven, 2 sinks and loads of seating in very clean camp kitchen. Large and very clean pool, well kept grounds, clean toilet/shower blocks M+F with soap and hotwater. I read the sites were narrow but we were given extra room. Manager/reception very helpful and friendly even at night time when I had trouble with the bbq, the manager just came and helped. Quirky little town with everything we needed

Good size park with clean amenities and some extras like a good size swimming pool and thermal water spa.
Some sites along the main row are a bit narrow so your right up against your neighbors. Some grief there for a few setting up as they had to move a few feet as they encroached it leaving enough room for a new arrival.
