We stayed here for two nights as a family of three in a triple bedroom on the very top floor. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. Although it was a long way up to take our luggage, the room had everything we needed, including a fridge and air-conditioning but no tea/coffee facilities. The pool area was nice enough although the loungers were a bit worse for wear. It was a bonus that it was open during Covid. The breakfast was really good with a croissant, yoghurt, eggs and bacon with juice and coffee. The location of this accommodation is a 1 km walk out of the car which was manageable. The downside was there were no shops closer if you wanted to get a chilled drink. We hired bikes from the shop between the accommodation and Luke are called fast and furious who were really helpful. For a two night stay it was very comfortable for a family of three however we wouldn’t have stayed comfortably for much longer

We stayed for 3 nights in a room on the second floor. Room was really nice with authentic details. Bathroom a little small, but okay. The pool is great, especially after a long day of hiking or biking in the Tuscan sun. Good breakfast and very friendly owner made our stay more then pleasant!

The lady owner of this b &b was very nice and was quick to try to resolve an issue that we had with the tv in our room. However, we got the impression that she didn't live on site and much of the time the hotel is left unattended, with keys for new arrivals being left hanging on the hook on the front door along with a plastic wallet with arrival instructions. I found this rather disconcerting especially as the rooms don't have a safe and so this could offer easy pickings for any thief. We had a room at the top of the hotel which meant a climb up 3 flights of stone steps. This certainly isn't a place for anyone with mobility issues! We had a reasonably sized room but our friends room was very small with a small bathroom with no window. The breakfast was very basic and when we came down to breakfast early one day, just after the start time, we weren't offered a cooked breakfast. It is about a 25 minute walk into Lucca and there aren't any restaurants on the way. We did get various taxis which were reasonably priced, apart from the one that the owner arranged who charged us twice the price!

When we arrived, we had allready decided to stay an extra day in Lucca, so we asked if the room was vacant for two days. We were then immidately upgraded to a better room, with a tub in the bedroom. Lovely room, lovely furniture. We felt like royalty

Fantastic bed and breakfast, lovely hosts and in a fabulous location. No restaurant facilities after breakfast but it was only around 25 minute stroll to the city walls or the supermarket. Small fridge in room which came in handy for snacks for around the pool. Overall a great find at a reasonable price.
