Stayed 2 nights and it was really nice the room was clean not a big room we had room 307 the bed was comfya good wardrobe space the bathroom was a bit small but the shower was nice and hot you get shower gel shampoo and body lotion plus an hairdryer the staff was really helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the metro and that's easy to use I would recommend this hotel
Booked hotel as needed to be close to Sants station for onward travel in Spain. Arrived late and no problems with hotel - only needed clean room close to station. Would recommend hotel if you only need one night stop over.
Stayed here with friends last week. I would not rate this hotel 4 star. Room was clean and adequate although somewhat dated. Insulation, poor in that people adjoining could be heard. Breakfast was sufficient although never varied. Lack of a hot drink in the evenings or during the day was disappointing. When asked if we could have some hot water for a friend Ill in bed, we were told NO in a rather offhand way. Most of the staff were pleasant enough apart from one on duty one evening when at 9.00 we met in the lounge area. He was extremely unpleasant for no reason whatsoever as we were a sensible, mature group. No real facilities, really a convenient hostel with basic facilities and convenient for station. Beware the bathroom stools!
Stayed at the Abbot Hotel for 11 days chosen because of its 4 star rating. The hotel is very centrally located for public transport and only a 6 minute walk from the train station that serves the airport.
The room was spacious and clean although the air conditioning was not fantastic. The rooms were also cleaned every day. However, the hotel lacked facilities such as somewhere to sit outside. The breakfast was ok but lacked choice and it was the same every day. There was one small area to meet with friends in the hotel for a chat and when we did, we were informed by the reception desk that we were making too much noise. It was well before 10pm and the lounge area was well away from the bedrooms, though near to the reception desk. The hotel does not have a bar or offers tea/coffee.
Given the lack of facilities I do not think that the hotel merits 4 stars. But that said, if you are looking for a centrally located hotel, it would make a good choice so long as you are not expecting to lounge in the sun at the hotel.
Nice, small hotel. Very convenient for main Sans station. Plenty of shops and bars nearby. Room small and bathroom basic, but perfect for friends or couple who just need a cheap base to use to sleep. English speaking staff on reception.
