As a student, myself and a friend were looking somewhere cheap to stay for one night in Norwich as we had a flight to catch the next day.
This hotel is like a drug den. Dirty rooms with stains everywhere. Windows smashed and kicked in doors. NOT SAFE AT ALL FOR CHILDREN.
We booked a room with a local Air BnB as we felt unsafe and didn't want to stay in a dirty, drug-ridden room.
Please, do not stay here. Pay a little extra for a local Air BnB or hotel. This place needs to be shut down.
There were people in our room when we got back in from clubbing, got a taxi back home to Sheringham. My belongings got pinched and emailed the company director to no avail. Stay here at your own risk.
We were travelling down last minute for business- hotel seemed ok on the pictures on booking.com but it was hell on earth!
On arrival there is no staff and you are sent a key code and told via text to go to one of 3 locations.
The buildings from the outside looked derelict or like a squat and what was inside what not much different, Smells heavily of cannabis and it seemed the rooms were not cleaned properly.
It is simply a bed in the middle of the room not even a hotel bed just a metal bed frame with a dirty bedding.
A used towel folded up along with a tv with no remote or plug!
The bathroom has public hair all over the shower and a broken bathroom door that looked like it had been kicked in!
The bedroom door was not secure via a lock just a change due to the wood around the lock being removed.
If the car park was safe I would of preferred to sleep in my car which would of been cleaner and comfier !!
Avoid this squat at all costs.
Im not normally one to complain but after working away from home for the past 10yrs this has got to be the biggest dump/doss house i have ever seen.
As i walk about the room i see a carpet that ised to be cream that is now a darl brown and full of god knows what, i actually will be wiping my feet as i leave this property.
No toilet roll, no towels although if you do fancy a prostitute you will find a few hanging about as the place is unmanned and they come amd go as they please. Im actually sleeping in a sleeping bag and using a pillow of my own as i cant bring myself to sleep in the bedding provided.
If you dont hear from me again i probably havent made it through the night...
I paid £27 pound for two nights booking on booking.com (ok I had to have no expectations). When I arrived the staff welcome me with quite rude manners telling me that there wasn't the possibility to pay by card. No problem, I'll pay cash. When I saw my room I gave back the key to the receptionist and I went away. Black walls with no window, dirty place, I felt really insecure to spend the night there alone.
