Firstly, the rooms are very big and spacious and the king size bed is really comfortable too. Consdering how big the shower it is not very powerful. The problems started when the room next door got back and started making a lot of noise. We flagged this to reception but they seemed to be scared of this group of people and were not willing to do anything about it. We were kept up for most of the night and the reception had the audacity to call our room at 6:30am asking if we could be quiet as they had a noise complaint!!! I voiced my opinion to the receptionistt this mornin who could only apologise for her incompetent collegue but said there was nothing more she could do. At the very least, emply security so you can enforce action when guests are being overzelaous and noisy!

Grabbed a quick one night stop at the Indigo Tower Hill Hotel. Check in was smooth and the staff member was polite and welcoming. Not sure how busy it was but at no point did we have to wait for a lift despite there only being one. On entering our room on the sixth floor, I was struck by how small it was compared to other rooms I have stayed in previously. Although well appointed and modern, it felt very claustrophobic with little room to move around in. The room door was literally two feet from the end of the bed. The bathroom was also very modern but again was ridiculously small, so much so that you have to walk in and then close the bathroom door again to use the toilet. Having complimentary soft drinks, chocolate and water in the mini bar was a nice touch. Bathrobes should have been in the room but I had to go downstairs and ask at reception for them as they weren't present on arrival. I can say that the Queen size bed was alot more comfortable than other hotel beds I have slept in recently and the rainfall shower was top notch. So in terms of value for money, this hotel was well worth what I paid for it and COVID precautions were also evident with hand sanitisers on every corridor.

Stayed for three nights, weekend break with my wife. Exceptional Covid related precautions, probably the best we’ve seen. All reception staff were so friendly and helpful, always greeted with a smile.
Room (executive) was spotless, bed very comfortable, really good sized room and very quiet.
Due to the current climate, towels etc changed on request, actioned immediately, really cannot fault the staff that work here. Complimentary chocolate, water and soft drinks in fridge appreciated.
Would return 100%

A 2 minute walk from Aldgate and a 5 minute walk from the tower of London. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The room was modern with a comfortable bed and a walk in shower. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. We asked for a refresh of the minibar, tea, coffee etc each morning and replacements were ready within an hour. Wouldn't hestiate to stay there again.

From my experience, they try their utmost to allocate a very decent room. All the rooms I have stayed in were from good to superb, so I would book the standard version and hope for some kind of upgrade. I think you will be well looked after there.
