Really nice hotel with friendly staff and a nice sized room. Views of the Liver Building from the hotel room are spectacular at night although my room was a little noisy due to the high winds I. Great bed with a massive TV and a free mini bar with snacks, it was ideal for work. Great breakfast and a good bar too.
Running machines in the gym were very good and the room's decor and ambience felt fresh and modern. Being part of IHG, the hotel felt like it hit the mark. Ideal for my office, being a few minutes walk away, parking was a little further away as there is none on-site. Also good for the shops and bars as well as the waterfront.
Had room-service on the first night with my only gripes being that there was no menu in the room so I had to go downstairs to the restaurant. My room wasn't tided piror to my second night, and the phone in the room didn't work either.
Reception felt a bit chaotic but, all in all, a really comfortable stay.
My top tip is to ask for a room facing the street as high as you can go, I was on six, so you can get a great view of the Liver Building at night. Overall really good and up to the standard expected of an IHG hotel.
Indigo is my default hotel for work trips to Liverpool. Rooms are excellent in every way, and breakfast is great - those are the key points for a hotel.
There is a very pleasant bar and seating all across the ground floor, so ideal for socialising in small groups.
There is a small gym available on the 1st floor - nothing special, just some weights, a couple of treadmills and exercise bike.
There are quite significantly cheaper hotels available nearby, and for the price you get good room and great breakfast, but not much more - other hotels I have stayed in at other cities for similar prices can have far better fitness suites, pools, jacuzzi, etc, but I have not found anything like that in any nearby hotels.
I would massively recommend staying here but when booking be sure to inform them that you will NOT accept rooms 101 or 102 - both these are next to the 24 hour gym and the noise of the treadmill at 5:30am is not appreciated. I spoke to reception and got a room move after my first night. The receptionist told me they are aware of the problem but the company that owns the hotel insists on a 24 hour gym ! Then relocate it or don't sell the rooms next to it ! Simples.
Once I was relocated to a room on the 4th floor the difference in noise levels was fantastic. First night sleep - 3 out of 5, second night - 5 out of 5.
The hotel is very well located in the business area of Liverpool.
The food at breakfast is wonderful, ample choice and the waiter Adam deserves a special mention for his cheerfulness so early and his willingness to be helpful.
Reception staff are lovely, they were very helpful and understanding about my issues with the room by the gym.
The rooms are wonderful, very very comfortable beds, very good cleanliness and the usual required items available. The bathrooms were great, the rainforest shower was a delight after a days work.
I would happily return here.
Great location of this hotel . Comfortable room and complimentary minibar which was a nice surprise.
Really easy short walk into the city and some fantastic restaurants .

Very modern and comfortable hotel located very well to explore the city and docks. Only issue for me was the hot breakfast is a bit overpriced for what you get. Great choice for food for breakfast however. Staff very friendly and professional and the rooms cleaned daily. Has a gym which I found very handy.
