Stayed 1 night (thankfully) with 2 teens.
Lucky to get 1 of the 5 parking spaces.
Our room 110, was big enough to sleep 4 and that's the only positive I can give.
Broken beds, 1 of which was unsleepable in the correct way (had to sleep with fetal at pillow end or the blood would of rushed to my head in sleep.
Carpets and ceiling rotten and tatty, toilet and shower..struggled to turn around in and stank of sewage.
Heating on constantly and the 1 broken bed up against it. I did ask if it gets turned off and the lady said its timed...but hasnt hone off and made for an unbearable nights sleep.
Breakfast was an extra £5 on top of the £70 a night...was pityfull. 1 item of bacon, sausage, egg with the white cut off for some reason, 1 tinned tomato and about 10 beans. Stone cold toast and the coffee was transparent.
Wouldnt probably stay here again and I know most hotels are the same up here.
Would suit stags and hens I think.
I'm no prude..I love blackpool and stayd here at least 15 times...these hotels are usually good for getting your head down when on the beer...but most are usually half the price of this 1
We stayed her to see the illuminations at Blackpool with my 8 year old son. This hotel is not for families our room was awful, it smelt the TV did not work other than 1 channel, the curtains bearly shut. The sheets and towels were clean that was a blessing or we would have left to find something else. Cheap Stag and hen do hotel at best.
We booked the hotel we found it online it’s a large hotel situated to the north of Blackpool town. The hotel room was ok but dated. It wasn’t the best hotel I’ve been before and I wouldn’t recommend it to my family. It was a little dirty although the double room was big enough and the bedding was clean the shower was dated have I said that before yes the hotel is dated and needs tons of work
We went with a group, and had a great 3 night stay, BUT, our room was small, the loo and shower tiny, with the wash basin in the bedroom, but the bed was comfy. Parking is limited, but we went by coach. But, you know what, the staff were the best, friendly, helpful and funny, if they only knew it. Waving the card reader in the air to get a signal to take a bar payment, priceless! The hotel is close to the centre of Blackpool, and opposite the beach. Our room had sea views, which was nice. I'd stay there again, for all its shortcomings.
This hotel is being 'refurbished ' .... it should not be allowed to charge for the rooms here. Room 204, single with sea view. It is sea facing but the double glazing has gone so they are completely steamed up and dirty. Ensuite, shower and toilet are in such a small cupboard basically that you can't use the toilet with the door closed and when you stand up, if the windows weren't so filthy, you would be seen from the prom. Tiles of various styles in the toilet and some off all together, ceiling tiles damp and stained in bedroom and shower. Wallpaper hanging off. Rain drips on the ceiling, you can hear it clearly. Lighting is a fluorescent light. Radiator doesn't work so a broken electric heater in the room that smells when it gets hot. Shower takes forever to get hot and then swings from scalding to freezing constantly. Carpets stained and if it is windy outside the internal doors bang. Make sure you check your booking, it days breakfast included but confirmed as room only, £5 extra for a luke warm breakfast. Advertised as having free parking, they do for about 6 cars. After that it's a local car park at £12 for the night. If I had been booked for more than one night I would have left and demanded my money back. The photos on websites are certainly not from recent years as the place is a dump.
