2 friends and I stayed here recently for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. The 1 bedder was larger than the 2 bedder. Both were very comfortable and clean and provided everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and we all had en-suites.

The location is great.....10 minutes at most to walk down to the fabulous Alum Chine beach. A 10 minute walk to a fabulous pub called Inn in the Park and Westbourne a 15-20 minute walk away.

Parking was easy just out the front of building.

My only criticism and it is one that probably just is part of an older building is squeaky floorboards from above and muffled tv noise from above. Usually had stopped by the time we wanted to sleep.

Overall a lovely place to stay and would recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, all really helpful information for our future guests! Sorry, yes, as an older building noise does travel a little - luckily our guests are usually extremely respectful and we have a noise curfew of 11pm.

There was myself, daughter and nearly 3 year old travelling to Bournemouth for my brothers birthday.
Having been let down by our airbnb booking at the last minute, we found an apartment that was available at Alum Chine Beach House so we booked it. The apartment is lovely. Clean, airy and decorated to a high standard. For us the only slight negative was there wasn't a handheld shower head in the shower & the basin is rather large for the room.
Towels were provided along with a couple of beers in the fridge which my daughter and I enjoyed. Thanks guys. It's the little touches that go a long way.
We had trouble parking on arrival (9pm Friday) Drove around for 20 minutes looking for a space on the side roads. It didn't help when a vehicle was parked over 2 bays at the property when rules state to keep in the bays..

All in all a really lovely peaceful stay. We were in apartment 5 on the top floor. Stairs aren't steep.

We can't wait to come back and stay. Really convenient, lovely area and also really lovely accommodation.
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

Thank you for such a lovely review, sorry about the parking issue - we have since put a nice large poster in the foyer showing people how to park as we appreciate the lines arn't very clear. More than happy to welcome you back anytime!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment as a family of 4 (2 adults with 2 small children). The apartment offered everything we needed, comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and spacious open plan living space with a well equipped kitchen. The living room overlooked a garden and if you looked at a right angle you could even get a glimpse of the sea! Alum Chine Beach House is located 5-10 mins walk from a gorgeous beach and to top it up great park that offers hours of fun for little ones. Fantastic accommodation!

Situated next to Alum Chine, the location is ideal 5 minutes to beach, with shops in Westbourne less than a mile away. We stayed in apartment 4, two bedroom both ensuite. Kitchen / dinner overlooking rear garden, kitchen cupboards are well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. On arrival we noticed one off the draw fronts had worked loose, all fixed with no hassle whilst we were out.

Plenty of car parking and 10 - 15 walk into Bournemouth, so you don't need car.

Can recommend Chez Fred in Westbourne for fish and chips and we had a nice meal at Vesuvio on sea front at Alum Chine.

Great stay and will definitely stay again if returning to this area.
