I loved it here. It was so peaceful. I had a wonderful view from my little chalet, the sunsets were amazing. I loved thT pool area.I could hear the wildlife first thing in the morning while laying in bed. the Staff were amazing especially Joseph on reception, nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a lovely smile. I wish I could have stayed here longer, but I was part of a tour
Had such an amazing time at this hotel! The facility was so beautiful with such amazing views of the Volcano! The hot springs and pool were amazing as well! Joseph, Jersuat, and Jonathan at the front desk we’re so friendly and super helpful! We also did the canopy and horseback riding tour during our stay! Jorge and Bryan were awesome!! Would definitely stay again!
Stayed in a superior bungalow here. Nice private bungalow with great views of El Arenal. The plus sides are the facilities with a nice pool and spa area including thermal heated pools. Also many activities on site. Downside was the restaurant. The food, especially the meat, was good but delivered in an extremely soulless atmosphere. Was also not particularly impressed by the breakfast buffet.
We enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Best view of the volcano is from this hotel, but you have to be lucky to see the entire volcano (lots of fog/rain during our stay). Surrounding 4/5-star hotels have better pool/hot thermal areas in my opinion.Staff is friendly. Room is a little outdated. Breakfast is delicious (traditional rice & peas, with plantains, eggs, etc). They do have mud baths in the morning, which is unique! Leaves your skin so smooth.
This hotel was lovely. The rooms were little bungalows dotted around the grounds. There was a spa, hot tub and pool with a swim up bar, and several hot springs pools which were just fabulous!
The restaurant had an amazing view of the volcano But obviously the cloud made this difficult to see lots of the time. Well, it is the rain forest! You must be prepared for wet weather but it is still warm and very beautiful! Breakfast was very busy and staff were under a lot of pressure.
The leaf cutter ants at night were fascinating and there were some beautiful birds.
Would really recommend the zip wires whilst you are here! I’ve reviewed on a company called Sky adventures.
