Our family came for a quick get away. We had our own rooms, prebooked and facing the water. Checking in was all done prior to our arrival an D.C. covid restrictions clearly in place.
The hotel has a pool and hot tub that can be prebooked. Patio was great for sunsets and relaxing on.
We had a suite which had coffee for our morning and a fridge for beverages. Kitchen for cooking wasn't used by us this trip.
Comfortable bed and very clean room.
Desk staff very polite and recommended places to eat. Parking was extra but inexpensive. Perfect spot to explore the village and the beach from.

I had booked 2 oceanview rooms, but got 2 mountain view when I got there. I had specifically asked for oceanview when I called to book. Swimming pool needed to be booked because of Covid, but when we called to inquire if pool was open or what time it closes, was not informed that we need to book. Just unpleasant staff!

This hotel has some really fabulous suites with large balconies with lake views, kitchens, big tv screens, etc. and also less expensive but very nice standard type rooms. Nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tub.

This is a lovely hotel, but definitely dated. The rooms are somewhat modern with new bathroom fixtures, but there are definitely some items out of date and it shows! Beds were super comfy, and the room was mostly clean. Photos were a good clean should be done are below, We didn't try the pool or hot tub as they looked fairly dirty. TV could be bigger and please get some TV guides and better channel selection. Instructions for DVD player would have been nice too. The view was amazing of the lake, and Harrison after Labor Day is the best time to go. Overall though a great stay and I would go again!

Questions & answers about the pool

Answer from Carol T
Sep 2016 |
We didn't go in the springs. As far as we saw, the public spring is small, like a small indoor pool, didn't interest is. We saw the one at the hotel. Don't know about temps. But the lake and scenery are beautiful.
