VOMIT IN OUR ACCOMMODATION beside dining table we could not stay after that AND KAZ KREOL REFUSE REFUND.

On the approach to the hotel the locals badger and harass you to buy boat rides and goods; very aggressively.

We choose one of the two ground rooms offered as the other one was directly behind the bar with 2 massive loud speakers that play continuously.

The hallway has an exit door which is permanently open onto land that belongs to someone else, not secure.

The room door locks are not secure and flimsy.

There was vomit in our eating area.

The room had an old, stale smell.

Cracked tile in bathroom, easily cut your foot on, with ants coming out of it.

The images advertised are enhanced on this website, the hotel looks nothing like what is advertised.

We was in the room for 10 mins when we saw vomit and decided to leave as that’s disgusting and Covid-19 risk. The hotel have refused to refund $847. No customer service at all.

The manager Taniesha Hinds was rude, argumentative and has no customer care skills. She’s not responded to any emails. And refuse a refund.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. TERRIBLE PLACE, it’s not a hotel.

We visited in February after a couple of weeks in Kingston, looking for 2 days of downtime and relaxation. The room wasn't ready when we got there but waited at the beachfront bar, which was very pleasant. We were approached by one of the staff to "view a 60 minute presentation" (sales pitch, like being on a package holiday to Spain 20 years ago), we refused but were asked again 4 or 5 times over the course of 2 days, each time our refusal being met with a sullen response. We ended up spending a lot of time in the ocean, trying to avoid the staff (the security guard also tries to hit you up for beers).

The room we were in had leaking pipes in the bathroom, so we woke up on the 2nd day with the bathroom covered by an inch of water. We complained and the maintenance guy tried his best to fix it, with minimal success (another inch of water the following morning). We received no offer of anything (compensation/a drink/whatever!) to make up for the inconvenience of being a) flooded and b) stuck in the room for a whole morning while the handyman did his work.

The beach is small but very nice. The water is quite rough at that point, so couldn't see any fish or sea life - we've stayed in places closer to Ocho Rios on previous visits, where we did some decent snorkelling, but that wasn't possible here.

There's a nice fish hut about 5 or 10 minutes walk away called Merle's Fish Joint (not affiliated with the hotel), where you can eat whatever the day's catch is whilst sitting at the back of the hut overlooking the White River, where there are loads of interesting waterbirds.

There's a lady who offers massages on the beach for about $60 USD per hour, which I split with a friend for 30 mins each. The massage was excellent.

I found the hotel overpriced for the state of the accommodation offered (although obviously a lot cheaper than the myriad of all-inclusive places available in the area), and I particularly didn't like being hassled by the hotel staff to spend my time watching a sales presentation in which I had zero interest. I understand they're trying to supplement their income, but it would encourage return visits if they offered services that would help people relax while on holiday (and preferably in a less persistent and aggressive manner).

The room was not very clean, they really need someone to get all the nooks and crannys. Our tub did not have a spout on the pipe (we assumed it did not work). Pretty sure the sheets were not fresh. The staff was super nice and there were three security guards on patrol. The furniture and what not was simple/old. The AC did work.

HOWEVER, the food was AMAZING. At night they light torches on the dock and setup dinner tables. It was not cheap but it was AMAZING. Breakfast (which was included), was simple and delicious.

Tips: go visit the guys in the hut on the edge of the premise for some good conversation. In the morning you can watch the locals come down the white river and paddle out to sea, it's quite serene.

we arrived at the hotel around 10PM very tired and to our surprise it was overbooked. we already had paid the daily rates through hotels.com. the manager said he did not receive the confirmation of the site, which is a lie, because I received an email from the hotel 1 day before confirming the stay.

we stayed at the property until 2 am trying to find a solution, as there were no hotels available in the city that hour. finally got a room in a very bad apartment (which I had to pay again). Run from this place, it seems that overbooking is a common practice to get more money

This small, laid back hotel is right on the beach. Has an amazing little beach right out the front.
It's right where white river meets the sea.

There's a real beautiful sand bar at low tide. Which is walkable from hotel and actually out the front of a nudist hotel, so don't mind the naked people if they come out

Lot of locals were hanging out at what seems like a venue next door and had a party going through the day but was over by sunset.

Take the kayak (included in room) and go up white river! Its a great little paddle

No, all of the rooms are pretty standard & face the ocean. If you don't like stairs i recommend getting a room on the first level because there's no elevator, also it's nice to be close to the bar because that's the hang out spot.

The rooms are the usual hotel room and bathroom. The best ones are downstairs with a patio and direct access to the beach
