We stayed in Casa Habana Blues for 2 nights. Josephine and Danielle waited and welcome us even though we arrived past 10 in the evening. Our room was clean, has a high ceiling, and spacious. Not to forget we have a private bathroom, mini fridge, safe box and comfortable beds and pillows. We have a shared living room. The location is safe and it will take at least 15-20mins walk going to the Old Havana and approximately 5-10mins walk to the El Malecon. Our breakfast was good consisting of bread, omelette, jam, butter, juice, fruits and coffee which is included when we booked our casa. Josephine also arranged our transportation going to Varadero. My little one enjoyed seeing the two lovely birds and fish in their casa. Thank you Josephine and Danielle we had a lovely time in your casa.

Finn and Danielle the owners are friendly and professional and will answer all your questions. They gave us lots of information and tips about Habana.

We stayed 5 nights at Casa Habana Blues 1940 and enjoyed it very much. clean room, bed and bathroom. Location is good, it is next to San Rafael street that takes you to the center of town to Old Habana (Habana viejo) which is just few blocks away and 5 minutes from the main street the Malecon.
Location is next to most good restaurants, museums and monuments.

Breakfast is excellent for an extra charge of 5 cuc. Lismely set the table for us every morning along with the superb Cuban coffee . (It came with fruits, jam, honey eggs and cheese.) Thank you Lismely for your lovely smile every morning and for the yummy breakfast.

It was a good experience.
I would highly recommend Casa Hababa Blues 1940

We stayed with Daniel and Fina at the beginning and end of our trip. On the first day, we were unable to stay in the room we booked which was unfortunate as it was not as nice as the one we booked. In saying this, we moved rooms the next day and our trip was great from there on. Fina was extremely helpful in navigating Havana and the optional breakfasts were great. If you're looking more at central Havana, this location is great, however we found ourselves going more to old Havana which is a 15 min walk (in the Havana heat).

Not the best of neighbourhoods but safe enough for me to walk out at night on my own. The kind hosts were welcoming and are at and in the adjoining apartment. The old apartment has many rooms to rent so a more hostel type environment. Shared lounge area and table for a shared breakfast. Room was large and space for 4 persons.

This Casa made my stay in Havana perfect, location is fantastic, loved the walk back and forth from Plaza Central, so interesting. You get a real feel for Havana . Great restaurants around the corner with air conditioning that are very reasonable. My room was clean and comparable, very calm and quiet at tonight. I had a lovely tiled bathroom. The Casa is a traditional Havana home with moldings and high ceilings. My room had an air conditioner and a safe. I loved coming back to my room at night because it was cool and quiet after a long interesting day of walking the streets of Havana.. I paid extra for a wonderful breakfast of an omelette, fresh fruit, juice and tea or coffee. I recommend this. The Malecon is just three blocks up and you can walk along to old Havana and the Prado Mardi, watch the sunset, and convertible Chevys racing along.

I travelled solo.

Josephine, thank you for being a wonderful and gracious host, your hospitality and kindness really contributed to my stay with you and thank you for helping with the taxi to the bus station.

I will definitely stay again next February. I plan on exploring more of the island.
