This was my second trip to Mutlu and I cannot wait to return next year. The hotel is located in a prime area close to everything you need with a supermarket across the road and a shop next door. There is also a shopping mall a short few minutes away. The rooms are cleaned every day and the bedding / towels changed every 3rd or 4th day. Air con cost me 60 pounds for 9 nights which was worth it for us. We upgraded to the king suite for 60 pounds on the last night which I would advise everyone to do it's such a grand room, a video of it is available on there Instagram page. We also paid 20 pounds for a late check out at 5pm. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. I. E a burger and chips between 34 to 45 lira (£3.50 - £4.50) A local efes beer is 25 lira and a wine 35 lira. They have happy hour between 4 and 6 making some cocktails bogof (equivalent of £2.50 each) The beach is around a 5 minute straight walk from the back of the hotel, you can hire two loungers and a umbrella on the beach for 30 lira. The staff at mutlu are so keen to entertain you and make you happy. The owners sons are very good at what they do and are very good at their work in the bar area, even hosting late night karaoke sessions (when they are not banned) and helping me and my partner on numerous occasions. However, the day bar worker and evening bar worker are amazing!!! They work extremely hard in very busy circumstances but always smile, and they are so friendly. They make the mutlu what it is and I think their service style far out weighs the other staff I. E reception and management. They deserve a pay rise! The ambience and atmosphere at mutlu is second to none and I would advise everyone to go there.
We came here last year, and we returned this year. Have to say, it was great.
Okan and his team are great, they make you feel welcome, helpful and always smiling. A credit to the hotel. Room was comfortable just what we wanted to use it for, great location for local amenities.
Hopefully we will sneak another trip there before the end of the year.
Keep up the good work. “Hopefully” see you again soon, if not, see you next summer.
What a loverly place been many times staff and manager okan where fantastic . Room clean and pool great. Really friendly atmosphere and staff very helpful. Okan will go out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Rooms are cleaned regularly and fresh bedding .fridge in room to keep your drinks cold .food at mutlu very tasty. It is located 2mins from beach and all local bars and restaurants and shops. will be back in a few weeks to do it all again.
I stayed here with my sister for two weeks. On arrival we got told me had to pay an extra 70 GBP for air con. The WiFi is very bad no reception at all only downstairs however the signal is still poor. The pool is not heated and was too cold to swim in. Our clothes and towels where taken that we left on a sunbed for a short period of time. The staff are very rude and not helpful at all, the sound of cockroaches in the room kept me awake at night. The manager was very creepy and kept saying sexual remarks, I do not trust him as far as I can throw him. The men that work at this hotel are creepy. The drinks and food where more expensive compared to other places. I will not stay here again there is no entertainment and lack of social skills by staff, not my cup of tea rather poop in my hands and clap. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE HERE ROOMS NOT CLEANED EVERYDAY, we seen the cleaner once. HAD TO PAY THE HOTEL FOR TOILET ROLL IT WAS NOT PROVIDED BY STAFF.
Had a fortnight here and was mostly an enjoyable 2 weeks. Hotel is nice, clean, and ideally situated for beach, shopping, restaurants etc. Most of the staff struggled with English, but did try their best to be fair. Food is acceptable and not too expensive. Happy hour in mid afternoon is great value. Turkish night was great and really good value at £5 per person. Overall a good value holiday but there is definitely room for some little improvements.
