This guest house is like a little gem in the Maldives. Staff is so welcome and friendly that you’ll feel at home from the moment you step in!!! They organized my pick up at the harbor, they offered a nice coconut as a welcome drink and Ashraf the owner gave me a detailed and useful description of the island which I really appreciate! My room was very beautiful in line with the style. I had a tv with a random selection of movies, my own room had a nice patio with chairs where I could relax. The breakfast was just amazing , they have a different menu everyday but they also arranged a continental breakfast especially for me when I asked !! Every single dish was delicious! I did the night fishing excursion and it was very well organized, with all the equipment. Kelaa is a really quiet, safe and relaxing island. The beach are like paradise and the island is quite enough with all that you need in terms of shops and restaurants.Everything was perfect at this guest house but what really made the difference is the people who work there... it’s like a big family!!! They all love what they do, they put the passion in whatever they do and that really shines trough!!! I felt like part of a family. I must thank everybody , because I had a really great time, the went over and beyond my expectations and I wish you all the best and I look forward to come back to visit you in the near future❤
I stayed in November 2016, June 2017, and February 2018. The waves are rough in June, but the east coast is more beautiful. House reef is beautiful in February. The jungle has beautiful plants and coconut trees. Above all, mangrove wetlands preserved in nature are the best. The only danger is mosquitoes. It is okay to spray mosquito repellent provided in each room. If you are uneasy, you can get a mosquito bite and then take a medicine. Within a minute of distance. The beach is the best. I enjoyed swimming for two hours at the morning sunrise and two hours at sunsets. In the morning I went out on a boat and snorkled. Sometimes I went to a picnic on a desert island, where I took snorkeling, swimming, and jungle strolling. Everything is perfect.
Thanks a lot everything for hhk staffs.
Ashraf, kudaba, Mors, Sameel, Chibbe, Mode, Ahmadh .. etc.

In the sea, Chibbe was able to work safely and to show various corals, shells, fish, mollusks. Every kids like Chibbe.

All staffs is very kind, careful.
I want to go again as soon as possible.
We stayed at Holiday Home last year for six days and it was such a great experience. The staff were very friendly, hospitable, helpful and accomdating. The local food was excellent and front beach is phenomenal. It was one of the most beautiful islands we have seen and experience in Maldives.
The facility has a pool table, cycles to use and comfortable room to stay in. We enjoy the local meals.
It was our joy to meet Asraful (owner) in Male on our way out. He was very warm, real and down to earth person.
We have just returned from a heavenly week at Holiday Home Kelaa. We chose a holiday at Holiday Home after some resort experiences. We might have been very lucky, but we won’t go back to resort holidays.
The staff at HHK is very welcoming, always smiling and they really went out of their way to make us feel among friends. The atmosphere is very easy, so you can forget about sophisticated clothes and just relax. We dropped our shoes the very moment we arrived and spent a week barefoot.
We stayed in a brand new private villa, which we definitely recommend. It’s a spacious double room, nicely designed for comfort and privacy, with a small private porch outdoor.
Meals are freshly cooked with local ingredients and tastes (very yummy) by smiling Nasya. Fish is served daily, grilled or in curries.
The manager Morsz very kindly took care of booking the internal flights and speedboat transfers from/to Hanimadhoo for us, organising staff to meet us at Male intl airport and guide us to domestic terminal, so the whole connection was smooth and hassle free.
We went on daily snorkeling excursions to best spots with Chibbe, and we saw mantas, eaglerays, stingrays, dolphins, sharks, numerous turtles and all the small colourful fishes you can find on the reef, which unfortunately in some places suffers the effects of El Niño.
The island is inhabited, but still very pristine. There is a very long beach where you can walk, and a dedicated bikini beach for sunbathing. Local people are friendly, too and you feel safe walking around.
Yes, there are mosquitos but we brought with us a specific tropical repellent and didn’t get bitten at all.
We have finally found our ideal place to enjoy Maldives, mixing nature, sport and meeting people, so we are already planning to come back as soon as possible!
We were looking for a different way to stay at the Maldives, away from the tourist resorts and finally we found this place and guesthouse. After a 40-minute domestic flight (tickets and check-in done by the staff) and a 25-minute speed boat travel and a very special warm welcome we could enjoy our holidays: staying 5 days with this friendly staff, having a clean room, a good service, Nasiya who is looking for us and asking what we like to eat was more than expected. Morsz and Samir were trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible and satisfied our needs. Thanks to them that made our holiday a dream.
Sum it all up, Holiday Home Kelaa is the perfect place for holidays on Maldives, meeting the friendly, always smiling local people. Great value for money, super quiet and calm.
