Had been to this place with my friends. The manager welcomed with a pleasant smile and gave us a room near to the flowing river. The room gave a very nice view of nature. Service was good in accommodating our request. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. There were activities which are fun. Food(Lunch, dinner, and breakfast) was good in taste. Overall resort was well maintained, clean and worth to the price that was paid.

Excellent place to spend your weekend or 1 night stay with group of friends or families in group. Roads were very good, you don't need to drive on any mud/rocky tracks, just 100 meters away from the Tar road this resort is located. No complaints as such with regards to stay or how we were treated. Manager of this resort was Mr. Jijo very pleasing character any help he will get that done with his staff there. We stayed in two cottages. 1 was on top near the parking lot which was constructed recently so looked brand new. There are 3 such new ones on top and down facing the stream / rain dance area there are another 3 cottages which is also good. There are two other cottages which is kind of isolated from these two places facing the green ground to play cricket/water volley ball. Queen size bed with two bunker beds also in the same room or Queen size bed with flat twin beds also in both these cottages. Food was Malnad style food, excellent and mouth watering i would say. I had veg food which was good, Non Veg dishes were also good (as per my wife who had non veg). Check in at 11 AM followed by Lunch, then tea and snacks in the evening, later during camp fire they would serve few more snacks peanut masala / gobi manchuri (for drinks if required) after that any snacks any additional non veg snacks would be charged. Then dinner and next day morning breakfast and we had to check out. If you need Hot water for bathing they have boilers which would start heating in the evening and next day morning. Note it's not 24hrs hot water available so utilize or bath whenever its turned on if you need hot water to take bath.
If you need alcohol suggest you can bring along or if you have a car/bike nearest store for alcohol is 3kms the way to come to this resort (you can buy while coming also). Store name is MSIL while going to the resort you will find on the right side 3kms before the resort. Bonfire was provided in 3 different areas under the roof (common mostly since we were just 5 had to share) if there isn't any rain they may provide on open areas for any groups also. Activities were also decent Boating in the stream, rain dance (music was poor though since they didn't have good songs), Water volley ball / throw ball, Kids can enjoy trampoline, Shuttle badminton, Cricket, Caroms, Table Tennis, and few activities to cross the stream on rope and wooden logs. Only thing which i felt they could have done right was to have instructors for all these activities as we had to call them to go for these rides or activities every time, mostly we were all alone trying to experiment things. Been to Rotti Kallu Resort as well earlier quite similar to this (5-6 kms from this resort), i would rate Rotti Kallu Resort 1 star more for the Bonfire they arranged for our group seperatly and for more water activities with instructors there.

We were 3 families with 3 children . We got a room which we thought that was clean , Rats attacked the luggage . The repairing of the luggage is more than the cost of the 2 days that we stayed there .

We had not booked any hotel when we visited sakleshpur we stopped at a junction and called the number on the boards there and found this place. It is a very beautiful place to stay in out side the room a small stream of river flows and and hill in front of it. They have a lot of outdoor activities. We were very lucky to have the entire resort to ours self during our stay. The food was also very good and the bonfire was the best. We would definitely visit this place again.

First look of the resort was the way we had expected it, nothing exceptional, but decent enough with all facilities that was described. We started by having lunch at the resort and it was very tasty. Rooms were clean, spacious and had a neat and big bathroom attached. Regarding the games, slush volley ball and slush football was one of the most amazing experience, remaining games were decent enough. We later had rain dance which was again good. The best part of the resort was the camp fire. After playing in water for such long time, it was lovely to sit in front of camp fire and munch the snacks. There were totally 6 type of snacks served during camp fire and all were yummy. Really loved it. Trekking and waterfalls were also a good experience. We came back late to the resort and although breakfast time was over, resort gave us hot breakfast which was very considerate of them.

Few downsides are, absolutely no cell phone network, this should be mentioned somewhere in the website so that nobody has a shock after going there, provide better amenities in the room like towels, better lighting etc.

Overall would recommend this resort for a weekend getaway
