The accommodations were fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious. Sylvie as a host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.
We were 8 people staying at Le Clos Corbier recently, and had a very nice stay. The hostess is very friendly and service -minded and serving really nice breakfasts. In addition, the place has 4 nice bedrooms, a beautiful swimming pool in a huge garden, access to your own kitchen, fridge etc. And there are several good champagne houses within walking distance...
Sylvie, the owner here provides great communication pre arrival yet it's her lovely charm when you arrive that is simply incredible. Her breakfast is simply fabulous, her knowledge of the region and Champagne Houses is excellent.
The room and whole House is elegantly decorated and is just divine.
One of her sons runs a Business doing a variety of tours within the region focused on the Champagne Houses.
We stayed here because it's literally 50m from Billicart Salmon where we did an amazing tour.
...Is the perfect way to describe Sylvie, Dominique and Harry (their cheeky and irresistible dog) -- they possess it in abundance and make you feel the same way too. Sylvie's welcome was so warm and gracious and her thoughtfulness and attention to detail is everywhere -- the decor of the rooms, press room and breakfast room, the fresh and delicious breakfast, and all of the little things she takes it upon herself to check in on to make your stay as wonderful as possible.
While there, we booked a half day tour with their son Matthias, who owns a custom vineyard tour company. What an amazing experience. He was so knowledgeable and entertaining, and our visit with a small Grand Cru producer was truly exceptional. Our stay with the Collard family was the highlight of our visit to the Champagne area and we really hope to return someday. We highly recommend Le Clos Corbier.
Our stay at Le Clos Corbier was great! We decided to stay in the garden room, which has direct access to the back garden.
The room is lovely. Bed comfi and bathroom very modern.
There is a communal kitchen downstairs which is great, plus you can purchase bottles of champage to try from downstairs with an honour system.
Car parking can be made available inside the clos, however; it is super tight, somwe just parked on the road outside.
Breakfast is excellent! Just amazing. We even had a treat the last morning of crepes! Sylvie certainly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome!
We did a wine tour at Ruinart (in reims), but clos corbier is literally right next to Billecart, so if you have the planning skills, book in for a tour there! Or maybe do a tour with Sylvie's son.
All in all. Fantastic stay. We really enjoyed the time we had.
