Clean, friendly staff, beautiful view over the ocean. calm and small, away from the crowds. Cute cottages and beautiful garden. Pool and nice bar with view over the ocean. Would absolutely come back here.
Pros: nice quiet spot, a few sun loungers to relax by the pool and sea. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: the restaurant meals were small, was left hungry afterwards. The location is really not that great, have to walk along a very dangerous road for a while to get to the nearest shop. To get a tuk tuk to Lamai centre will cost 50-70 baht per person, a taxi would cost even more.
We hired a car and received it with just a half tank which is difficult to return likewise. The petrol station guys just automatically filled up our car when we pulled up so we ended up returning the car with a full tank. Asked for some compensation and was met with hostility and ended up being put on the phone with the local car dealer they use who didn't care. Clearly knew what he was doing here and hope he enjoys his free petrol, be wary of hiring a car here unless it's a full tank.
For €20 you get a small bungalow (big room with bed and adjacent toilet and bathroom), right next to the beach with a private pool, possibility to canoe (free of charge). Everything you need is within reach (right next to Lamai beach), private bar next to the pool.
All the staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and you can arrange everything through them (transfers, ferries, rental, natura hikes etc).
Would recommend to everyone wanting to stay on a small budget while getting a luxury stay at Koh Samui
This resort is great, we had a beach bungalow which is everything we wanted. Very clean and small kitchen we could cook our breakfast in. Lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Small pool area and adequate for what we wanted.
I would recommend hiring a moped to get around as there is a fast road to walk along to get to town with no pavement. Taxis are available but expensive by other islands standards as no public buses or tuk tuks. You can get the red wagons songsthous but no timetable so s bit hit a miss.
Still a great place to stay.
First things first we paid £15 a night, it's clean and the service is fantastic. The rooms aren't 5* but everything you need and very clean but you are paying £15 a night. Free tea, coffee and water replenished each day regardless of whether you have your room cleaned.
Location: I'll be honest it's around a 10 minute walk down a busy main road to the main 7/11 and restaurants. Please take a torch if you are going in the dark or expecting to be walking back in the dark. 3 minutes walk to the left to one or two restaurants.personally we didnt mind. Lots of people rented scooters.
Location - beautiful - right on its own private beach we had the pool to ourselves most days. Hammocks in the shade to chill and read a book. Free kayaks to use although ours had a hole in it (funny story to tell now though)
Lovely balcony outside and television is a nice touch with mini fridge. Food very nice and we ordered room service which we ordered through what's app. We ordered the transfer to koh phangan and was very reasonable at 350B whereas online it was much more than that.
Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you want to relax, be away from it all with a few restaurants and one or two bars nearby within walking distance. Lovely 4 nights ☺
