Excellent everything! The gardens, pool, room, bistro, location, and staff are 5 ⭐️! Ms. Dung, Mr Huy and their staff are amazing. I truly felt extremely comfortable and safe during my month long stay here. Excellent people, delicious food, and simply an amazing experience. I dare say it is the nicest resort on the Island other than Premier Village and Fusion, but their locations suck and they are overpriced! Do yourself a favor and book today!

My girlfriend and I arrived at le forest and received the most awful service on checking in that I've ever received anywhere in the world.

When we arrived we were not welcomed, no hello or even a smile. A woman named Dung was checking us in. On arrival she gave my girlfriend the most disgusting and disrespectful look I've seen.

I handed over my passport which is normal in vietnam and she asked for my girlfriends ID. My girlfriend had an electronic copy of her passport which has never been a problem before. We have stayed at this resort twice before and used electronic copies to check in, no problem. For some reason this lady did not like the look of my girlfriend and tried to make it really difficult. After a lot of discussion we agreed that we will get her ID

We were shown to our room which is when things got really bad. I was lying on the bed and my GF was in the bathroom when there was a knock on the window. Dung again bringing the bill and demanding I pay for the room now. This was also weird as the previous 2 times I stayed there I paid on check out. I thought nothing of it and paid then she was rude to my girlfriend again telling me to bring her I'd before 7 pm or she leaves. At this point my gf got upset and politely told her that she dodnt like the way she was being disrespected as she is a paying guest. The lady did not like this and started screaming and swearing at my girlfriend, she said she came to the room and she saw me lying on the bed with my legs open ready to $%#@. She waved her hands around nearly hitting my gf in the face twice.

She demanded we leave so we left after we received a refund for the room.

The words that were coming out of this woman towards paying guests and in front of other guests was the worst thing I've ever seen anyone work in hospitality say

We stayed for a week in a bungalow away from the pool and found it very lovely and peaceful. The room was comfortable and spacious. Came with a mini fridge, utensils, and an electric kettle. They also offer laundry service for a low fee. We just put our basket out in the morning and they returned everything clean and folded by evening. Very convenient! The only negative thing was that our bidet started leaking water and the staff were unable to fix it so we had a constant, small stream of toilet water running across the bathroom.

The landscaping and tropical plants around the property make it feel secluded and serene. The pool area is nice and they offer beach towels there. We never ate at the restaurant but ordered beers and played pool every night which was fun. It has a trendy beach bar vibe.

We rented a motorbike for the entire week and the staff set this up for us. We just asked to rent a motorbike and in 10 minutes we signed some papers, paid, and were on our way exploring the island! Very easy.

Before arriving we were hesitant about the location as it seemed far from the beach but it’s actually not. We liked the proximity to everything and the beach is less than one mile down the hill and across the street to get to Long Beach.

lovely family resort, nice room and extremely cheap value for money. I point out some pros and cons here
-Pros: lovely small resort, nice swimming pool and room is tidy. I don't think there is any better resort with the same price here. Location also close to central and many restaurants ảound.
- Cons: Family run resort so service is quite below par. My room had some buzzing machine noise (probably pumping machine for swimming pool) which is quite annoying at night.
Overrall, the resort is great for staying. Ignoring the annoying facts, I could stay here for whole week.

I informed the hotel that we will be arriving somewhere between 7am - 8am, over a month before arrival, to which I was replied, the room will be prepared to our wishes. Upon arrival I was told the people have not checked out yet and was denied my room with a balcony and was replaced with a random ground floor room. The hot water was not working, there were dirt stains on the floor, gecko crap on the bed sheets. Disgusting. We were denied breakfast saying that it's our first day and eventually offered some out of "sympathy". And while having breakfast, the owner and a staff member started chatting about us, I knew that coz they mentioned where I come from in their conversation, that was very very rude. The owner in charge, a lady, is very rude. Never welcomed us or even said thank you for coming or even when we were leaving. At one point staff was speaking to us with food in their mouth, disgusting. They DO NOT know customer service. The resort is really far inside, and forget about walking in the night, the road is full of stray dogs and these stray dogs sleep and roam around in the restaurant too. Sometimes barking so loud while we were having our breakfast. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. I dont mean to put people out of business but we should be getting what we paid for.
