Should you be lucky enough to visit here, I heartily recommend taking breakfast and evening meal along with the room. Evening meals come as a five course extravaganza along with red wine made on the premises and are excellent value and quality.
(The drive up from the coast is fun for the driver, but not for queasy passengers.)
This is a family run establishment and guests are made very welcome.
Anyone of an esoteric bent, may also find this a particularly interesting venue from the viewpoint of dreams that can be experienced here.
We thought we had booked a charming Agriturismo and from the outside we had. But once we steped out of the car we understood we were mistaken. School kids in the neighbourhood are allowed to use the pool by paying 5 EUR each and pop music was a part of the deal. The room was steril but clean. The furnitures were not giving the room or the lobby/dining room any xtra. The place had no charm and we decided to leave without breakfast the day after when we saw the buffet.
We are a family of 5 of mixed ages and this location suited us all perfectly! Our hosts had lovely food and wine available in the room for us as we arrived after 1am which went down a treat. the rooms are very spacious, even though the hotel itself is a small intimate boutique hotel. We found it to be very clean and tidy and the staff were extremely helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, local fare. We specially loved the evening meal, the freshest of food provided each day with several courses and local wines. The pool was big for the hotel and the grounds were very well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
