The beach is great, the swimming pool is nice, you can’t get bored at this place, there are plenty of things that you can do , zipping , snorkelling, atv,you can have fun with your friend choosing the banana boat😂, we had so much fun. We found the place quite, not many tourists, also you can have massage at good prices. So far, I would recomand this resort to anyone.

What can i say about Dakak? Me and my wife spent three wonderful days in its womb. The place is so serene and so peaceful and clean. Even if it's already the low season for tourist when i went, We see the staff scrubbing and cleaning the place all the time.
Dakak has one of the cleanest beach area ive ever seen, also due to the constant clean up and picking up of leaves and seaweeds by the staff. The view from the dining area is fantastic, and spending time in their pirates bar during happy hour with an acoustic singer is a wonderful way to cap the day.
We tried their massage and for it was really good value for money, so much so that we had massage for two days.
I would have given it a much higher rating if not for the beds, as those mattresses and pillows have seen better days. I really wish they would upgrade these aspects as the best way to end a day is to lay down your head in a soft pillow and firm bed.
Overall, i would revisit again... when the mattresses are changed

Booked a 'Honeymoon' weekend at this resort. Firstly it is remote so be prepared for difficult and expensive travel if you have no car. Firstly the good. Met at airport and returned by very nice customer service man and driver. Riverside lunch and excursion was very helped by very good driver. Two waiters/waitresses done very good job. Now the other end of the scale and very poor. First buffet breakfast, a clump of hair was found in a meat selection. Standing nearby was the restaurant supervisor. The meal was shown without fuss or upset to her. Her action was just to take the plate of food and add it to some dirty plates on the neighbour table and then stand back at her post again. There was no apology, but worse still, she did not go to the serving dish to investigate any further contamination. Throughout the weekend following this I noticed what poor management and hygiene was present in the restaurant. As part of the package was a double room massage. At the appointed time, no one arrived. Two telephone calls later, one person turned up with advice that another staff member would try and get there later. Discussing the matter with the front office staff got absolutely no response. In fact they were a waste of time. Wrote an email of complaint and got no reply in two weeks. Resent the email again and this time got an email with apology and invitation to make another booking to try and get a better experience. As if a further booking would be made. No offer of any refund for service paid for not received, and no offer to discount the 'next visit'. To sum up, nice location, very poor food and food hygiene and service? Well you cannot call it that.

We stayed in the Villa Angelina Luxury Suites section of the resort and were very satisfied.
We were collected from the airport in a very comfortable, spacious and air conditioned vehicle with posh bottled water on standby.
Jemuel was the Head Concierge and the person who took care of us throughout our stay. We had access to him 24/7 via text or phone call which was fantastic and he never once let us down.
The food on sight was very good; particularly the Japanese and Korean Restaurant (the name has escaped me but it’s a short walk from the main reception).
We were not interested in the exclusive entry to Fantasy Land (mini theme park) but it was nice to have the option. We just wanted to relax and unwind.
The hotel room was superb. First time I’ve ever had ‘free access’ to the mini bar’s contents! Bed was great and the shower was on another level. Hot tub on the balcony with a view of the ocean!
The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because our room had a MAJOR SECURITY ISSUE. In short, we were unable to lock our room or even engage the safety chain as both were broken!
Management was unable to rectify the problem during our short stay and fortunately we were not burgled. We did take some peace of mind and reassurance from the fact that this resort was very private and secure with armed guards at the gated entrance. However, I still would have liked a secure and lockable hotel room for the money we were paying.
Try the Zip Line and ask to go in a ‘superman position’. This was a very thrilling experience and worth every peso!
We missed the opportunity for a massage but were given a tour of the on sight Spa! One word: “Wow!” The services were expensive: P6000 package for two (massage, jacuzzi and sauna). However, the facility and view looked and felt amazing and next time we’ll certainly be indulging!
Overall, a fantastic stay and we had a lovely experience. Jemuel delivered first class customer service and we felt very valued. We will certainly stay again.
