We were visiting Bad Wilsnack with my in-laws in May, and wanted to go to the Kristall Therme. We took a car there, which now we realize we didn't need to do since the hotel and the Therme are so close to the railway station. However, we were there with a 3-year old, my husband, and my in-laws. The hotel was quite nice, and felt almost like a residence hotel. We had a very funny situation the first night, because we'd forgotten to pack diapers for our daughter to sleep in. So...it was a Saturday night and there was nowhere within a 30 minute drive to get diapers. The staff was so helpful though, and called a few people to track down a diaper. Eventually, they just gave us a thick cotton pad that they presumably use for their older guests, and we used it in the travel bed which they'd provided. This was great, and the next day one of their hotel staff had even showed up with diapers for us, and had borrowed them from their granddaughter. It was a really small town moment, but we thought it was really nice. The food was also quite lovely and we had a nice "Spargelmenu" (Asparagus Prix-Fixe Menu), fortunately for us right when Bärlauch was in season. I'd totally stay there again, and we loved the fitness room at the end of the hall where we could stretch and play, and we had a really nice big balcony too. The massage I had was quite nice, and so all of the extras really make for a nice stay. Even if you're with an English-only crowd, you'll still get by here without an troubles.
