Lovely clean hotel at a reasonable price. The food in the restaurant is OK but the set menu is nothing special for the price. Breakfast was good and included in the price of the room. Over all, value for money.

Booked hotel on a half board basis on the recommendation of a friend.
Hotel is clean and well appointed. Bar/Restaurant staff very good with a smile and helpful manner.
Breakfast very good, dinner satisfying and very reasonably priced drinks.
The hotel is semi remote and you need a car even to visit other bars/restaurants.
It’s on a main road which heavy goods vehicles travel along. Unfortunately we had a room at the front of the hotel and could hear the road traffic. Recommend you ask for a room at the rear of the hotel.
One good point was excellent air conditioning which is a must in the summer season.

Room Tip: Ask for room at the back of the hotel, not facing the main road

Stayed at this hotel 15th to 17th July. Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, put a drink flowers and chocolate in our room when they found out it was our anniversary. Food good in restaurant and bar reasonably priced. Though on a main road traffic noise did not cause us a problem. Though you need to to drive, there is an awful lot to see and do in this area, we shall return when weather cooler.

Visited this hotel for 2 nights half board on a Groupon Alicante deal knowing it was a roadside location and not in or even on outskirts of a town. Despite proximity to the busy road, noise was not a problem. It is located in pleasant countryside once you leave the main road. Met at reception by Luis who speaks English but other staff speak very little so having some Spanish is an advantage. Room was clean, well furnished, tea/ coffee facilities, nice bathroom, mosquito net over bed, working aircon. Staff attentive and friendly. Food delicious and plentiful. We were only overnight guests so breakfast was not a buffet but served by bar staff and gave good choice. Drinks are at normal bar prices as the bar caters for a lot of passing and local trade so no nasty shocks there.
The hotel is about 5 Km out of Calasparra and is in an ideal location for exploring the area including the other nearby towns of Cehegin and Caravaca. The management are clearly trying to expand the hotel aspect of the business and doing a good job of that. It is never going to be a place that lots of visitors stay for more than a few days but as a short stopover it is ideal. They made our stay very enjoyable and would not hesitate to go back there.

We arrived at the hotel on April 13 and discovered that I had mistakenly made our reservation for 4-13-2018. This meant that the 4 of us were stuck without a hotel room during Semana Santa, the busiest time of the year. However, Luis, the young man at the desk searched and searched and finally found us a casa rural about twenty miles away. He went way beyond the call of duty to help us. WE then had an excellent and very inexpensive lunch there and continued on to the casa rural which was terrific.
