We stayed at TMF for 3 nights with our two children 6 and 8. It was a wonderful escape from Mumbai. The resort is beautifully done up, exquisite in every sense. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in Parijat overlooking the lake. The children enjoyed the games room and feeding the farm animals. The food in the restaurant is delicious. This is a hidden gem.

Very good ambiance, artistic decor in rooms ,good comfortable beds/pillow etc, dining area and common areas, super delicious food like home food, many indoor games, for outdoor games equipments provided. Clean Swimming pool ,plant nursery ,art villege nearby, cylcles provided ,staff very courteous, always ready to help, chef made superb food.Worth visiting with 2/3 couples if you need company. Or honeymooners can enjoy
Some points to be noted
1.In parijaat room where we stayed for 1 night ,had two steps which were not visible, and 2/3 times we were about to fall
2.very hot in this season i.e. in jan also
3.force of water for filling bathtub is very slow, took almost 2/3 hours to fill
4.cooling of air conditioning is not proper and also felt some mosquitos
5.wifi was not working on the day of arrival
6.i felt beds were little small and also double size blanket should be provided and not single size
Overall it was a good experience, still some developments are going on,so hope to have a better experience next time
Can definitely recommend for 1/2 nights with some friends or couples

As my grandfather said, 'Excellent hospitality!'; in other words, as another review suggested, this is certainly a "Haven for Peace and Comfort!" - Located on the outskirts of Karjat, Tooth Mountains Farms is a boutique resort that exudes earthiness, warmth and serenity. Overlooking the fortress of Irshalgad, which is shaped like a tooth at the peak of the mountain, this place derives its dear name, i.e. Tooth Mountain Farms.

After having travelled across multiple destinations in various countries, what still makes this place exceptionally unique are the PEOPLE running it. The hospitality and professionalism that my family of 5 received, was unparalleled. The calming environment and natural beauty is indeed nurtured by the hospitality of the staff. From the very beginning, Subhan (our receptionist) gave myself, my parents and grandparents a warm welcome. He and his team made us feel at 'Home' every since we stepped into the earthy soil of this beautiful farmstay. Subhan and the seasoned Maharaj, Manoj ji catered to our different tastes across 3 different generations, in an exquisite and exceptional manner. They took care of the smallest of details across all 3 meals of the day, especially for my grandparents, who were extremely satisfied with the service and the food. As staunch Jains, we had more food limitations but never felt limited by the options that Manoj-ji prepared for us. In a nutshell, we all had a delectable feast throughout our stay - thanks to Manoj-ji's experience, attention to detail and of course, 'haath ka jaadu'. Sagar was another delight; he was essentially our tour guide and always maintained a positive, friendly and helpful disposition. One such particular instance was when Sagar took my mom and I to explore the adjacent Art Village - he shared facts, information and engaged us both in a pleasant conversation about the village, showed us the nearby farm and presented us to the wonderful horses adored by the village, namely Kanak Baadal and Whatsapp. He was genuinely enthusiastic and always carried a smile on his face! Amongst others, Ajit - another helper - was also very accommodating.

Our family resided in Ashmantak and Amaltas, two rooms located in the Out-House next to the swimming pool area. While they are smaller than the largest rooms located in the Main Villa, they were extremely picturesque, vibrant and airy rooms (with plants and natural sunlight), each comfortable for a party of 2-3 people. The Main Villa is home to the common/play area and the bigger rooms. We took a sneak-peak at these rooms in the Main Villa and found our Out-house rooms to be more spacious and homey; also less noisy since these rooms are separate from the common area.

The only suggestions I can offer are for the elderly - my grandparents had a slightly difficult time walking from the rooms to the restaurant because of the uneven and unfinished walking path. While it adds to the natural rawness of the setting, the stones/pebbles and grass could get uncomfortable for older people. I would suggest creating a flat path that is easy on the legs for not just elderly, but perhaps disabled people as well. Another small thing was regarding the shower tap in the Ashmantak room: the tap (or 'nal') was slightly tight and difficult for my grandparents to operate. The solution could be as simple as oiling it or installing something more user-friendly.

All-in-all, this stay definitely surpassed my expectations. I just came from America, and was humbled and touched by the 5-star service and amenities that this wonderful stay had to offer. It was a home away from home. Rest assured, I will be back. I hope, and know, that this place will grow from strength-to-strength and continue to bloom, just like the lovely flowering trees grown at the farms. As we approach a new decade and a new year, I must say thank you and wish Tooth Mountain Farms continued success! No matter what height of success you achieve, please continue to stay firmly rooted to your soil, your earthiness, because that's where the charm lies. Cheers!

Much as I Cherish my Nomadic Solitude, I found this Gem of a Resort, not far away from Mumbai. Nestled between the mountains at Karjat. At the’ Tooth mountain Farms’ they have followed the Biophillic method of Architecture and design. The Aesthetics and interiors of each room are a work of Art, it’s a Farm stay hence the food is ,Farm to table( organically grown produce), it has good options for non- vegetarian cuisine too. The food is tasty and wholesome, the service is extremely courteous and efficient. The place has a clean swimming pool.
So if you want to connect with Nature at its Pristine Best with a comfortable stay and service, you know where to Head.....THE TOOTH MOUNTAIN FARMS!
P.S:- No TV( thankfully 😅)

Wow !! It's an amazing must visit place near to Mumbai with amazing hospitality, neat, clean, big room with great interiors and all available amenities, wifi connectivity and all.

The surrounding is lush green with required cleanliness, polite and supporting, ready to go staff, must mention sagar on reception, ajit and Maharaj (the cook) who is very good with lots of delicious dishes.

Thank u all for cake arrangements and the birthday decorations I've asked for my daughters birthday celebration !!

Actually we felt like a homely feeling while leaving the farm house with lots of lovely & memorable experience. Awesome more than we expected !!

Happy Independence Day to you too. I do not believe any room has a spectacular view. Privacy - yes. Take a room (one of the three) that’s away from the main house. Of the three, there is one which has its own balcony. You may prefer that. Do not recollect the names of the rooms. Recommend you carry some board games to keep yourself entertained or books to read as there is nothing other than a swimming pool at this place.
