It was an amazing experience. The service was good and the location was amazing, it was so quiet there we loved every second of it. The room was very nice, we just had a problem with the wifi and the remote.
We stayed in the Frosted Pearl room&were not very impressed. Some of the furniture was downright old, not nice. The blinds and the rubber on the fridge door were really dirty. Cleaning was not up to scratch, we left a towel on the floor one day and found it there when we came back, after the place had been cleaned. One of the bowls in the kitchen, on the shelf, was dirty. On Thursday and Friday we were not given milk. We had a creature stay with us, it dragged food behind the microwave. If we could, we'd request a refund and check out, but it was the height of peak season. The geyser took long to warm up, so we were often busy in the shower when the water ran out.

At the beginning Expedia forwarded incorrect information for 1 day only instead of 3 days and therefore the owner could'n't accommodate me . I went through a very long process and lots of anger even making a booking elsewhere also via expedia , I complaint to expedia and up till now received no apology or anything . After booking through expedia again I realized that the price weren't for 2 but for 1. Fortunately Debbie at Grosvenor refunded me part of the money but I had to wait for both of the monies to reflect into their accounts before I could be reimbursed. I called the owner of Bay breeze Sterna again and luckily she had a cancellation for the weekend and could fit me in it was about R300 extra as it was a better room than the previous one and at least I could still go on holiday with my husband as intended and didn' have to wait for the money to reflect seeing that I cancelled with the impression that I will get my refund in view of this all being the fault of expedia , To round it off all all went very well except for the experience with expedia I actually placed my complaint on paper many phone calls to various people and call centre of expedia also not very user friendly to get through to the right person but I would've liked an apology seeing I sent various emails and gave all the information as well as proof of payment and cancellation . I wouldn't do a booking via expedia very soon it wa sprobably my first and last .Thank You Sterna of Bay Breeze for your hospitality and saving the day and also Debbie of Grosvenar for understanding !
I was pleasantly surprised how clean and comfortable this place was. The room was really clean and well taken care of during my stay. The room has everything you need except for AC, the bed is comfortable. The only inconvenience I had was that they only changed the towel once in almost two weeks I stayed there. Overall, an excellent hotel, secure, definitely great value.
It was a nice room, very clean and made you feel at home. The area was very peaceful and quiet. It is a good get away for couples who just need some time away from their busy lives and just need to relax.
